Pokémon TCG: Sword and Shield—Brilliant Stars

Most Affordable BDIF

Well with all of the speculation and debate about what exactly is the BDIF, I pose this less thought about, perhaps easier to answer question: what is the most affordable BDIF? This is for the metaphorical Ash Ketchum, who showed up to the TCG a day late and a dollar short, yet still wants to compete. For those with limited budget, what is the deck that is easiest to put together quickly in terms of money and still be competitive?

Jumpluff and Gyrados don't hinge on LvX's (Though the ever expensive Luxray GL helps them both out), so those can be relatively cheap, high powered decks. Past that though, for a dirt cheap deck, you're not going to be able to get anything terribly competitive.

Also, inb4 "MACHAMP-MACHAMP-MACHAMP"

LuxChomp was pretty cheap for me to build so I have to say it was cheaper for me to build than my GlisTomb.

Gengar is terrible. The cheapest is Gyarados if ran with either 2-2 Blissey Prime or Mesprit and Azelf MT (as well as Azelf LA). And no RH Sableyes.

Gyarados is by far the cheapest and easiest high tier deck to build. Gengar isn't that good, don't build it.

Mightyena decks are built primarily with commons/uncommons depending on your build. Also check your local league if you need staples such as Claydol, Uxie, Roseanne's, etc.

...Mightyena should never be in the same thread as the acronym BDIF. m'kay? m'kay.

Gyarados is going to be easiest, since you can technically make a decent build with no holo rares.

Gyarados is the easiest/cheapest to make, but i think gyarados is also the hardest to play correctly (well, SP is tough to play too...)
