This was a deck that just came to mind just to play around with. The thing is that it ran very very well. I beat a queendon, electrode, and a rocklock deck in the same day ^^ But i did lose to someone using Blastoise and Charizard ex... It was an unexpected deck to run into and hurt. The 2nd time i won so i thaught i should post it up here. Add any comments you like please, good or bad its fair game. But note, i realize theres not alot of trainers in this deck as apposed to other decks, but i didn't need to **** trainers for this deck, which is always good:thumb:

Ok, like i said, some changes were gonna happen, and well, they did. I keep getting told that mt line up is bad, but it works for me ^^ Not all of us need the same plan... Change = good. Well on to the plan. Tho if i had another pidgeot (frlg) id use it.

I like to start off with bagon or a growly. Growlithe is better most the time tho. With petm i can get arcanine ex out fast, or use celio to nab maybe a pidgy (or evo 4 it) or a non ex in general. To get down to it, I get growlithe charged on turn one, w/ react or fire usaully. Then turn 2 comes and most the tim i either have petm or candy and pidgeot combo to get it out to get arcanine ex. Now im ready, i hope lol. I do run over to start things, then next turn i can use pidgeot to get a react energy to flame swirl at a cost of 1 energy. Or if i need some thing else, (bagon or voltorb) Well i grab a bagon and let it sit out, i get it evolving over the turn while i keep flame swil going. Then i nab an electrode ex w/ pidgeot or trainers and evolve a torb i usally already have out. I retreat my pup if its ever needed which sometimes is the case, and throw out a salamence, that may have 1 energy on it already. Now i use elctrodes power and throw 5 energys on him, brings it to a 6 most often. Then i place another energy is needed. So i can bright flame things for about 4 turns without have to wait a turn being short on an energy.

Safeguard decks can pose a threat, but thats why pidgeot can fight back, as well as my normal electrode and arcanine. They can do alot of damage 70 or 60.

If i get a special condition on my sally or my pup ex's i use switch, put pidgeot out then retreat so the condition is gone.

Sometimes i may not get a bagon or growly on turn one (happened once) and so swoop teleporter comes in handy. I would use more if i had more. But I got a 360, and a car so i cant really buy packs alot at the moment -sniff-

Would help to have another pidgeotx1, and swoop teleportersx1 or x2

youre pokemon lines are really horrible
4-1
3-2
2-1
3-2-2
these linesare messed up
stick to ballanced lines

and dont run all these singles of trainers
and you got too much energy....
sorry but this deck is pretty bad...

Thanks for your imput ^^, but seeing as my energy functions work well and its suffered 2 loss im sticking with it for now. And im not sure where you got a line of 4-1? I have never ran that line... I no, singles of trainers are risky, but like i said. This deck has ran well. Those were just to see what to add, but since it ran so well i kept it that way. And seeing as it got me 2nd place in the XGC pokemon tourny, i like it...

Thanks for sharing your mind tho

oops, i misread the rk9 line.

but youre missing the basics man.
You need draw
this deck needs Celios
this deck needs staduims
the pokemon lines also need to be beefed up
3-1-1 lines are not gonna cut it
i have no idea how you won a tourny with this deck. it must have been a for fun tourny with really bad players...
you have barely any ways to get anything out.
like i said this deck is missing the basics...
and do you mind tellin me how u beat a rock-lock with this thing?
thanx
and if you want we could battle on apprentice some time :thumb:

HAha, yea. I will agree, like i mentioned. I think im gonna take out zigs and linoone to add some draw cards, and take a couple balls out for celios, im aware of doing that. I also may throw in another pidgeotto. And that rock lock and queendon, and dragtrode was quite easy. But the rock lock i had a growlithe out, had 1 fire on it and pidgy on the bench, rare candy in my hand, turn 2 i used petm got arcanine ex evolved, placed another fire on it, candied my bird to pidgeotto, used its power to grab a bagon. Over ran did 20 to a mareep. Turn 3 they had an ampy (stupid candy) so i got pow hand dragged it out, placed a react flame swirled ampy to it death. And continued flame swirling like a mad man. But he worked up a t-tar w/ spinning tail, and knocked out my rk9 so i threw out my what was now a salamence b/c i had already takin 5 prizes mith my pup and had pidgeot grab my trode evolved torb used its power put 4react and 1 fire on sallamence ex, added a water and bright flamed it ^^ Similar to the other 2 decks ^^

Well, Pow! only works when you have more prizes then your opponent, and since your opponent didn't pick that up, they couldn't have been that good(Pidgeotto doesn't have a power either). You have 1 RK9ex, you have 1 Pidgeot, you have 1 PETM, and 1 Pow!. That's like a Ludicargo pulling all of its tech cards in its opening hand. You may have gotten EXTREMELY lucky against a RockLock player, and I have no idea how you're 14-2 with this, but you need to up your consistancy alot. Make the Pidgeot line 2-1-2, and stick with either RK9 or Salamence and build your deck around that. GL...

i have to jump on the brads wagon here and say yeah other than the lines it might work. drop the K9 line or saly line for a ttar d line that will power energy's faster for better quicker attacks and straighten your trainers ouyt there all over the place. ( if you keep the sally flygon d is a possiblity too

play the holon engine
play 16 energy
im gonna try to help u with a list, ill post it in a lit while

2-1-2 Salamence ex (or 3-2-3 if you realy want to focus on salamence)
3-2/1 Arcanine ex/Arcanine
2-2 Electrode ex
2-1-2 Pidgeot

But realy, i don't see the use of Electrode ex in this deck
And also, you should have some Boost nrg for Salamence

Thanks for your imput. I really really agree with your pidgeot line. I would use that lineup but the problem is i have no other pidgeot (frlg)
