Pokemon is said to be getting its second wind, and there are alot of people out that want to play but dont know where right now. Anyway, like the national tour pokemon is having for modafied, i thiknk there should be something for unlimited as well, people who have wanted to play will still have decks able enough to play, give them a chance to get back in the game and get intrested in modafied format

I went to orgins, played unlimted and thought i could sell off my winning cards, though i did sell off cards i kept about 30 packs and want to play. Others may want to play I think having a national unlimted tournament would promote modafied. I thought so before orgins and even more now.

I'd like any thoughts on this, thanks
 
The problem with unlimited is that it becomes too hard to change the game. New cards have to be really, really good to become playable and that will harm both variation and Nintendo's card sales.

It is much easier to increase variation by removing cards from the pool than it is by adding cards to the pool. It also becomes more difficult to make new variations of the game without introducing combinations that can become dominating.
 
I agree, that unlimited is important to be kept on the side, but i also see it as away to bring players back to the game as i said. If unlimited were to come back, in some way ,**not of corse as the main show** cards may need to be banned though thats never been a popular thought
 
yeah unlimited is important but only as a side event. If modified wouldn't be the main event then people wouldn't by cards( in all the new sets they're still no cards that can compete with sneasel/slowking) and then pokémon just would be dead. Nintendo wouldn't make profit, so they wouldn't make cards anymore.
