This is the no frills Luxape as it's not all crammed full of techs.

2 Crobat G
2 Uxie
1 Bronzong G

1 Promocroak

It's a pretty normal Luxape strategy,disrupt and destroy.

you don't need 2-2 garchomp c. 1-1 if anything, so take some of that out. try 2-3 lighntning energy, but besides that, it is pretty good deck
 
Run a 2-1 Garchomp line...you don't need a 2-2.
Also, run an Uxie X...its your answer to Machamp and takes care of opp's Bronzong G...which is a crucial card in SP decks...plus its a free prize and a draw engine, and with the ability to Psychic Restore, you can retreat after your Uxie X gets hurt.
Switch your HQs with Sunnyshore Gym(takes care of promocroak OHKO ability vs luxray)
Run another Spray.
You don't need to run 4 Calls...run 3 instead. You aren't running Claydols
Also, you need to run 1 Unown G.
Also, run an Aaron's, you need AT LEAST 1, 2 if you can fit it in.


My LuxApe is very consistent, has topped a city champ....and I find that my build is closest to near perfect...not to sound arrogant.
 
Taking out a Garchomp C lv.x for an Unown G.
Might put in the Sunnyshore Gyms,it sounds like a good idea.
Taking out a 1 Call Energy for 1 Aaron's.
I don't have Ninetails or I would.
And I took out 1 Fire energy for 1 more Power Spray.
 
I got my hands on a Promocroak and have to find a way to put it and 2 Psychic energy,in case one gets prized and I don't have an Azelf.
 
For a straight forward, bare bones list it looks fine, just drop the Garchomp X for the Uxie X. Also a drop a crobat and a Arrons for a 1-1 Ninetails and you have a good straight basic list.

I would take out the 1 Garchomp lv.x for the Uxie lv.x and again in not taking it from my friend right now with now tournys coming up.
And,I don't like the Ninetails for the Mewtwo match up.I did go out and get a Vulpix and a Ninetails just incase though.Between Infernape's Split Bomb and Garchomp's Dragon Rush,I can still attack things with snipe attacks.I really haven't had too many problems with any Mewtwo deck yet.Now Rapidash......:)

You would rather run Azelf then another Promocroak because of all the single IMPORTANT cards you have:

Ape X
Chomp X
Promocroak
Zong G
Luke GL
Unown G

If you put this in
Uxie X

With all those single cards your bound to have one of those prized, why run the risk. Azelf's aren't that hard/expensive to get.
 
At the time I posted that it wasn't in the deck yet.I would never run 2 Promocroaks in any deck.
My friend has the only Azelf we have right now.The nearest store that sells Pokemon singles is about an hour away.Not driving an hour for 1 card.

You can always trade for 1 or ebay it.:confused:
 
So i've been using the deck for a couple of weeks now and need a little more help.
I now see that 3 Power Sprays are just not enough.What card should come out for 1 more Power Spray.
