Eh, Pain wasj ust talking to him about the other "fronts" of the war (i.e., Madara vs the crew, Itachi vs Sasuke). It might've been a confusing conversation, but remember that Zetsu has two sides...You could say he's a severe schizophrenic. :x

I just finished up the second season of Showtime's Dexter, and thank god Jiraiya died in a much more appropriate way than another one of my favorite fictional characters. :(

I figured, but I guess I thought he said something about Zetsu being his master, but apparently he was talking about Jiraiya.
 
Poor Jiraiya...he was always one of my favorite characters...

Now, will they focus on Sasuke vs Itachi finally? Or will they stall more by going to Naruto and Co. vs Madara/Tobi?
 
I agree, Itachi is way too powerful to go out just like that. I mean, he still has the Mangekyo Sharingan, which Sasuke still presumably doesn't have (or otherwise, it hasn't been revealed). Heck, Sasuke could still be stuck in one of his Genjutsu or something. I just don't see Itachi being tricked that easily, especially when you consider the abilities of the Sharingan (such as seeing through other Genjutsu, etc).

Also, in the unlikely event he does kill Itachi finally, then what? His whole purpose of existing and whining in the series is just to kill Itachi, so what after? He's not exactly welcomed back in Konoha and such.
 
no zetsu had nothing to do with that. tobi is prolly madara and he is prabably in charge along with pein because. "he showed up right after madara ordered me to capture the kyuubi" by pein
 
Well, we all knew that Itachi wasn't down yet, but I didn't see him and Madara both being the ones who slaughtered off the entire clan (I mean, if Madara is the founder of the clan, why would he kill off his decendents?). I'd always thought Itachi implied the 3rd Magenyeko (sp?) user to be Kakashi, but I guess not...makes sense though.

Also confirmed that the Magenyeko will make them blind. And that Sasuke is still a whining baby.
