Pokémon TCG: Sword and Shield—Brilliant Stars

Naruto

It's alright, though I didn't find it up to the level that various fanboys had acted like it was.

I've seen various discussions where the end result was that people hate the dub because it's translated into English. Otaku fanboys are weird.

Naruto? =/ Oh yeah, I love the battle scenes that would take maybe twenty seconds in real time but since there's so much dialogue it takes a full thirty-minute section on CN. Then CN wastes time on an encore. The art is second-rate, and while the storyline is pretty good, the lack of action in the show ruins it for me.

Otaku fanboys are weird.

I can't post a link since it's not 'Gym-suitable but it perfectly captures the essence of the "otaku" fanboy. [EDITED: Let's not even mention what site it's from if it is not suitable for the Gym] (Marril Re-edit: Fine, fine, but to make my point, just because it's Japanese doesn't mean it's in any way shape or form good—in other words, just because a show is animé doesn't affect it being good or bad at all).

Also, in Japan, an otaku is someone who's so obsessed they have no social skills and no personal hygiene. Sounds about right.

i personally enjoy the show. THis past weekend's episode was great w/ Naruto and Sasuke finally working together (hmmm...maybe I'll go get the novels). Anyway, just thought that I would chime in with my thoughts. Keep the episodes coming. Good action, some good comedy, great storyline, something I'm really going to enjoy watching as the story progresses.

I've enjoyed the few episodes I've seen quite much- although I've missed a marotiy of them. I really like the dubbing for the show, I've never seen the Japanese...but it seems to be as good as it could be, in my opinion.

I've been watching the Japanese version of Naruto so these voices on the American version are a little different I mean after 150+ Japanese episodes thoses voices get in your head. But the American version isn't as bad as one woulda thouht. Except chaning a good attack into one that sound worse...Thousands Years of Pain sounds much better than Thousand Years of Death. ^_^

Well, I've watched over 150 episodes in the Japanese, and all of the current English Eps..12 or whatever they are on.

Seeing as how I've watched 150 episodes of Japanese, those voices are stuck in my head, so the English voices seem weird and unfitting, but personaly I think they somewhat are, regardless of watching the Japanese.

I mean, they are trying their best, but I still don't think it's all that great, but that of course is just my opinion.

I am glad they kept the term Jutsu, as well as Hokage, and the Genin, Chuunin, Jounin ranks. I'm also glad they kept the original soundtrack of background music, that's always a plus in my book.

While they're doing a good job, there are just somethings I think they can do better about.

Now, as the series as a whole, I think it's a great series. Definatly not the best series ever, but it's definatly a good series none the less, the animation is great, as far as TV Anime is conserned, but be warned, there are some episodes that are animated horribly, but that's because a bunch of different animation companies animate the series so it gets produced faster. The storyline is pretty solid, as well as the characters.

Overall, I think Naruto is a great series. ^^

Naruto is the best Period I mean Gaara is the BEST!!!

i also seen over 150 eps japanese ,BACKROUND MUSIC IS SO COOL!!!!
but the only think i dont like are, the recent filers there some what good, but not the best

Atleast Naruto filler isn't as bad as One Piece filler. :3 The Apis and Rainbow Mist arcs sucked. I like One Piece and Bleach more than Naruto so I wouldn't call it the best, but it is good. There are alot of good new shows out this month too...I should make a post about them later...

Haha, I like Naruto :D

Unlike the terror that is One Piece, Naruto is pretty dang-well done! I'm enjoying it more and more as I watch it.

I was gonna...miffed that they edited stuff out of the English version, some of the voices also seem a bit...off. But I'm gonna end up watching it anyways. I'll also continue to get the manga.

Naruto rockx. I like One Piece too. Garra is evil.....yet somehow friendly (spoiler LOL)

The show is pretty all right, but what's with the random transformations. Very unecessary.

I like how they actually make me buy into this world of ninja; the presentation is so believable, that I find myself legitimately impressed by moves and stuff, like when the three were training, and that one-eyed guy pulled abunch of tricks on them. And when they were escorting that bridge-builder and the first two assassins tried to get the jump on them, and the ended up getting beaten.

I really like it. And the catch phrase, "Believe it!" is very strong. I like it. Is there are Japanese version of that? If so, what's it translate to?

And One Piece is not terrible. I'd say more, but I have to get back to work.

Dattebayo! It means nothing as far as I know, but it has a special place in my heart--believe it.

If you're talking about American One Piece...then yes. Yes it is awful. Two full arcs cut out, crappy VAs, the lack of the word "nakama"...its a shame to dubbed anime. (Okay, so maybe nakama staying is unrealistic. But I still like it. ;p)

Trust me, if Naruto (as in the character) is a believable ninja, then Marril (as in the Pokémon) is a Dragon-type.

Also, the only thing I think that hurts the One Piece dub is a lack of the good old "GAMU GAMU NOOOOOOOOO~~~"
