Nationals and Expanded

This could easily be the wrong place for this, but it determines my "strategy" for Nationals...

So for US Nationals, do we have confirmation either which way on if the t32 from each pod (Or whatever the additional swiss cut is) will be expanded, or standard? The official pokemon website reveals nothing in either direction, and I can't seem to find posts detailing specifics to this date. Being that it's a month away, I'm hoping there is an answer to this

Totally late, but I think switch between Standard & Expanded is going to be too much for a high pressure event like Nats or Worlds. That said, I don't think Expanded is going away.

How would people like to see it worked in during the coming season?

I would like to see the expanded format have its own tournaments entirely. Switching decks from day 1 to day 2 at Regionals is a huge hassle. Perhaps make the first 2 weekends of Regionals in standard and the third weekend in expanded.

Additionally, some of the card interactions in expanded are going to be ridiculous. Forest of Giant Plants + Exeggutor = supporter lock on turn 1. We're going to see more and more of these ridiculous combos be played in expanded. TPCI needs to design an expanded format where card interactions do not create combinations that are gamebreaking. It's possible that a couple years into the future, expanded needs to become a singleton format.

Well in MTG they do switch between days in large events like PTQ. Last year TOs could run Expanded LCs (as in 100% expanded) just no one in my are did that.
