Ive been thinking about an combo for crawdaunt ex (since i have 4 of that card)
And ive figured out that if i combine him with Mantine(Cg) and Tyranitar(Ds) that might work out. But i still need a little help with wich trainers and energies i should use.

This is what i got so far:

Pokes: (18)
3x Mantine
2-1-2 Tyranitar (ds)
4-4 Crawdaunt Ex
1 or 2 Mewtwo(ds)

Trainers: (26)
3x Rare Candy
3x PETM
3x Energy Removal
3x Pokemon Reversal
3x Hol. Trans.
3x H. Adv
2x Menor
1x Scientist
2x BF
2x Windstorm
1x Copycat

Energy: (16)
5 Water
4 Heal
4 Boost
3 Delta rainbow

Strategy:
The main attacker here is offcourse Crawdaunt Ex that does 20 dmg for each energy that is attached too him.
And thats when mantine and ttar comes in. cus with mantines power i can search my discardpile for an basic energy and put it on top of my deck( too use this power i have to put 1 damagecounter on mantine) And with ttars power i can look at the top card of my deck, and if that card is an basic energy card i can attach it to one of my pokemons, and that will be crawdaunt offcourse. And i will use mewtwos power to move energy from my actice crawdaunt too my benched crawdaunt when the active allmost is dead.

I really think you would be better off finding a way to abuse Crawdaunt's Power. There is enough Lightning in the format IMO to be worried about just making a deck centered around Crawdaunt as an attacker. It is a good card, it just needs a really out-of-the-box idea to work.
