So I'm finally down to eight cards away from completing the base set, which really isn't too far away. I'd appreciate anyone who could help me complete this little life goal of mine, and I'll do my best to offer something equal in return. The list below is the following of my needs and haves. I'd prefer if the cards were in the 75% condition and up, please. No torn ones, bent ones... if it's got a couple scratches, that's no big deal. A card is a card.

If you have any questions about one of my cards, I can provide a scan and information.

THESE ARE MY RULES. FAIL TO ABIDE BY THEM AND... AND... SOMETHING BAD WILL HAPPEN. LIKE THE APOCALYPSE. No, srsly. We don't want to file any lawsuits.

1. I live in the U.S., but I will ship to Canada because I live close to the border. I will only ship overseas if the trade is large and important.
2. Ripping me off makes me sad. Don't make me sad.
3. Lying makes me angry. Don't make me angry.
4. As stated before, I'll take cards even if they're scratched up a bit. Just no ripped, badly bent, severely faded, etc. ones.
5. I'll try my best to ship them off as quickly as possible. I send first class 99% of the time, so I hope you perform the same courtesy.
6. I do follow the REF rule.
7. No, I will not buy cards. At least not at this time.​

LilBandit: Srsly? Clefairy? That'd actually finish off everyone I need for the base set, so I'd be thrilled if you included it. As for the Pidgeots, you know I can't turn those down, however I feel as if I'm not giving you enough for what you're giving me. The old cards are worth a bunch; is there anything else I could offer you that would make it more equal?
 
Wow, way to give me a chance to respond about the trade before promising cards to someone else. As a forewarning, that's never a good idea to do, especially if you've responded to someone else saying you'd be willing to trade, and then offer the same cards to someone else afterwards.

I'll trade for the other two, even though the two you promised to someone else were the ones I wanted more.
 
Secretsof2113: Ack, I'm terribly sorry. I've seen a lot of people with the rule of first come first serve, like whoever secures the deal first, but I completely spaced putting something like that in my rules. I really appreciate you giving me the heads up though, and as soon as I can get my hands on some more of those two, I would be glad to let you know immediately. I will certainly do the two for two. Since I have no references (yet), I will send first.


LilBandit: The Wailord has already been promised to someone else, and the one I offered the Lake Boundary to hasn't said anything yet. The Professor Elm however is available, but it is scratched and I am unsure if that is alright. If not, LMK and I will see about the Lake Boundary. (It is also a little scratched, but not like the Elm is.) I also just noticed that the Pokemon Trader I have that I thought was a Base Set... wasn't. Would you magically happen to have the Base Set Trader as well? If so, I'll swap the Jungle Rare Pidgeot for it instead.

Yes I have one but it is a bit rough around the edges. I think it was used in actual battle so it isn't in the greatest condition. I can send you a picture of the actual card if you would like. I can choose other cards from your list if you've already secured the deals to other users.
 
LilBandit: Yeah, the guy who asked for the Lake Boundary ended up wanting it, though the Professor Elm is still available. If there are any others you want in exchange, LMK. I also found a Pokemon Trader Base, so don't worry about yours. ^^

LilBandit: Certainly. The Giovanni is sort of scuffed up on his suit lightly, and has a little fading on the back, but it's a first edition one. If that's ok with you, I'd be willing to include him and the other four in the trade.
