Ooooo...I may have to try that. I haven't auctioned anything in, well, a LOOOONG time.

By the way, I'm gotten a few threads created on Hyps message board for neopets now with stock tips and hoarding plans and such. Be sure to check it out and join!

I'll be leaving for my brothers tonight around 5pmCST and wont be home til late Friday. And of course I'll be busy this weekend with prerelease and seeing a Kelly Clarkson concert I won tickets too. So, you people have until Monday to stock up on the current hoarding item before I buy up a bunch more! Check Hyps board for further details!

ok kelly clarkson is hott i saw here once when she was waitresing.O u have to try it i have made 2225np by selling the paint brush plushes and i bought them fo 8np so i made a 2209 profit

So you started the auction at 1300?

I just listed a couple at 500 start just to see what happens. I'll try higher starting bids if those sell. I got enought of them to play around with :tongue:

My first one sold for 600 with a 500 starting bid. I'll try listing them with higher starting bids now!

I had 1 sell for 2,000 and a few that got no bids with a 1,000np start. May just be because it's getting later and there are fewer people watching.

Keep in mind, you can only have 8 items up for auction at any one time. Unless it is a rare item that there isn't a lot of, I always do 1 hour auctions as most of the time the only time your item is seen is when it's at the beginning of the list and about to end. If you could do 5 or 10 minute auctions, I'd probably do those a lot.

On the shop wiz, the amount of Starry paint brush plushies under 500np is becoming less and less. And right now you can buy them for 500 or less and then auction them and usually get 1,000+. Not too shabby!

Maybe we should ask Pokegym staff if Brookfield POP can be the official Neopets affiliate. lol
 
I play it, but i havent been on there in A LONG time, so my pets are probably all dieing!! At first i had to keep getting food from the soup kitchen for free, then i played lots of games, got lots of neopoints and know i've got money!! I would say that the secret to getting money is to play the games
 
Wow, I got my friend's sister back into neopets... and she made 70K in two days from the games... and gave it all to me.

Now I have enough cash to invest for a few days and get the ball rolling.
 
Have you joined Hyp's board yet? If not, please do. We'd like to have a few more active members to help each other out!

If there's interest, I'll post neodaq analysis on a regular basis and such. I typed up a couple reports for a couple of days, but there doesn't seem to be enough interest in that area right now for me to put the time into it. Join the board, post saying you want more of that if you do, and I'll do what I can!

I joined the board, but until I get a larger bankroll, I can't really do much.

I just aim to do the simple market, invest 1000 shares a day, low stocks, sell when the time seems appropriate, which as you said is usually when it has hit a high and has dropped a few points, and it seems like it will drop significantly. a good percentage markup would be good too...

i've always wanted to do item hoarding, it always made the most sense to me. hopefully in a week or two ill have a significant amount of money to gain leverage in the market, im aiming for 100K soon. i have about 35K in stock, 40K on me, 10K in various smaller places
 
I have an account on Neopets...at first i really sucked and had to keep getting free food from the soup kitchen, then i played lots of games......playing games is the best, fastest and easiest way to make money on neopets.
 
Ok I confess I am a Neopian but I'm that good at it. I just play some of the games each day and I'm making Neopoints slowly (VERY slowly.....)

I just started NeoQuest and I have absolutely no idea what is going on....... but it seems strangely familiar :lol:
