Net-Decking

No, I have definitely seen people get handed a deck and do exceedingly well. I handed Bobby M Healix at worlds on Friday and he makes it to t8 two days later.

But then again, neither of these situations were net-decks. They were both calculated decisions- just made by someone else. Kyle making Delta and Martin running it isn't like it being an exposed deck and someone copying a list and succeeding with it. Part of the success is probably in the surprise or secretive factor of the decks, as much as the decks themselves.

Not to mention Pooka gave the list to Martin, Martin didn't come on the gym and take it from someone else.

I'm just glad Kyle won nats too so the only jealousy would be martin->pooka, and not the other way around =P

Net decking is actually harmful to the player who is net decking, since they are using a list that is not fitted to their play style. Net deckers do not need to be punished; they are punishing themselves.

I'm not even sure what a playstyle is. A good player will play a good list well, whatever the deck is.

IMO it is much more important to just use the right list/techs for the meta, regardless of whether the deck 'suits' you or not.
