has anyone already come up with an idea like this? dont mind its sloppy-ness i jus whipped it up in like 10 minutes

Pokes 14 (11 Basic)

x4 Kyogre ex HL
x4 Yanma TRR
x3 Porygon2 DS
x3 Porygon FR/LG

Trainers 26

x4 Island Cave
x4 Master Ball
x4 Energy Search
x4 Mr. Stone's Project
x3 Dual Ball
x3 Holon Lass
x2 Holon Mentor
x2 Transciever

Energies 20
x7 Water
x3 w/e Basic
x3 w/e Basic
x3 w/e Basic
x2 Holon Electrode
x2 Holon Magneton

Strat: Get as many energies in your hand in preperation for Kyogre ex's 2nd Attack and decimate them with up to huge damage per turn. Ill explain everything step by step.

Yanma
Yanma would be good as a starter since it's first attack allows you to put 4 energy cards in your hand which are crucial to the early destructive super-tital wave. Unfortunately, it requires you to have different types of energy so diversification is required.

Porygon2
Its Poke'Power: Back-Up allows you to draw until you have 6 cards in your hand. This should be used before you play any supporters to maxime the benifiets of it. The cycle should be

-non-supporter
-back-up
-supporter
-attack

Energy Search, Mr. Stone, Holon Lass
These cards are used to get energy cards into your hand. Lass is preferred earlier game as it can get up to 12 energies into your hand, while Stone might be less riskier late game.

Trainsciever, Mentor
A mini-holon engine is used to try and not to interfere with porygon2's back-up but is used to get the lasses out quicker.

Island Cave
I cant really seem to find a stadium that would work well with tihs deck so help so I choose this to counter Ruins.

4 Energy Types?
Kyogre's Super Tidal Wave doesnt require all of the ones in your hand to be water while Yanma's Quick Charge does.

Ideas? Suggestions? Fixes?

Kyogre -ex saw some play when it was first released with delcatty and magneton (R/S and Dragon, respectively). Same concept, different cards. Do an advanced search in the deck help and strategy forum for kyogre -ex and you should find a few decklists.

That being said, the problem back then, as it is now, is that kyogre took too long to power up. Without extra energy attachments per turn, once the first one went down it was tough to get another one going. The 100 HP didn't help either - Blaziken -ex could pick it off at any time, much as Steelix -ex can do now. Admin also hurts, as do at least 3 gyms in the format (frontier, ruins, cursed stone). It is fun once you get a kyogre up and running, but if you start with Yanma, that'll be by turn 4 at the earliest, which is simply much too slow for this format.

You also have no straight draw or shuffle draw, which can get to be a problem early game when you're running 20 energy....or midgame, when you're looking for enough energy to KO or there's a battle frontier in play shutting down your porygon2...or late game, after they admin you and snipe your porygon.

Best of luck with it. Wish I had better news, but the format is fairly stacked against 100-hp EX'es that lack extra energy attachment or t2 disruption ability.

Cheers,

it was actually groudon EX, and he was brutal in the RS format. he would discard energy, as would delcatty, and you would use magneton and pull it rightback, only to discard for damage. 110 damage consistantly by turn 3. yeah, it was good.

kyogre was used with stoise and magenton. once the energy rain went down, magenton became an attacker, hitting for massive damage. once he went down, the tohers pulled enrgy back for kyogre for a `1hko.

at least in my meta and what i played with it :)

cheers :thumb:

I played a deck like this for a while....
This is my list:

Pkmn - 12
2 Kyogre ex (don't have more....)
3 Porygon
2 Porygon2 (DS)
3 Eevee (UF)
2 Vaporeon (UF- for some nice energy attachment)

Trainers - 25
3 Mary's Request
2 Steven's Advice
3 POR
3 Holon Lass
1 Holon Mentor
3 Celio's Network
3 VS Seeker
2 Island Cave
1 Holon Farmer
2 Energy Recycle System
2 Dual Ball

Energies - 23
15 Water
4 Fire
4 Lightning

Strategy: (try to) Start with Eevee, attach Water to get Vaporeon and attach an Energy using Aqua Supply (on Kyogre if possible). Get Kyogre powered up and attack. If you are facing a Safeguarder attack with Vaporeon. Porygon2 fills your hand each turn. Holon Lass get the energies to deal massive damage. If Kyogre is KO'ed, try to set up another one using Vaporeon's Aqua Supply.

That's it.

you can put magneton from Dragons because it got reprinted and try umm some more draw power. and use groudon ex it should work pretty well.

I play a deck quite similar play mewtwo and marcargo for quick energies and mewtwo can kill those grass pokemo that kill kyogre.
And play Pokemon retriver.
