Hello everyone!

This year's Pokemon Regionals will be much more than just a tournament! It will now be a two day event! For starters the dates for this event are April 17 & 18th. It will be held at the Rhode Island Convention Center which is located at 1 Sabin Street, Providence, RI, 02903, http://www.riconvention.com/.

We have set up a room block at the Westin Hotel which is connected to both the Rhode Island Convention Center and the Providence Place Mall http://www.providenceplace.com/, When you call the Westin Reservations tell them you are part of the Pokemon Regionals group. they will book your room at $129.00 a night.

Friday night from 6:30 pm to 10:30 pm we will be holding Pokemon League, Pre Registration for Regionals, and optional deck checks in a room to be announced at the Westin Hotel. We will be collecting deck lists at the player meeting. Pre Registered players need to be at the venue only for the player meeting.

Saturday: Day 1 Regionals:
registration from 9:00 AM to 9:50 AM,
Player Meeting: 10:00 AM to 10:20 AM,
There will be a 40 minute Lunch extension of round 2. There will be OPEN concessions inside the event room as well.
Day 1 rounds will be completed in an efficient manner. We are planning on having day 1 rounds completed by 6:30 pm AT THE LATEST, probably earlier.

6:00 PM to 9:00 PM we will be starting Mutant Booster drafts: ONLY $21.00 to play, draft 6 packs, with prize support
We will have open play and league play until 11:00 PM

Sunday:day 2 Regionals, top cuts
The cuts for day 2 will start with a player meeting at 9:45 AM

Modified Contstructed Event: WIN TOM SHEA"S NINTENDO DS"S! This will be a FREE event for those who played in New England Regionals. There will be a nintendo DS on the line for EACH AGE GROUP. There will also be some other product prizes as well depending on the event attendance. The entry fee for those who didn't play in New England Regionals will be $10.00. Registration time will be 9:30 am with a 10:00 start.

There will be a dealer on site to buy and sell cards.

There will also be door prizes and giveaways. I have a present for the first 300 players in this year's New England Regionals as well.

The goal for this event is to have everyone really get to enjoy their Regional Experience. We have a really nice venue, which is connected to a really nice hotel which in turn is connected to a really nice mall. It will be possible for families to really enjoy their time together. The Providence Place mall has over 170 Stores in it. A full food court, several really nice resturants, DAVE AND BUSTERS and a movie theatre.

We hope to see you at New England Regionals

I was wondering if I happened to stay at a different hotel is parking for the event free? if not how much is it? thank you in advanced

Looking forward to it, especially being 3 minutes from my house :)
Someone should create a FaceBook event for NE Regionals. News of events travel like wildfire that way.

Well so far every other Regionals thread posted is just April 17th.

No, a lot of us are sticking with the 1 day Regionals, and will trade feedback with Tom, in what looks to be an utterly elite event, to decide the future of Regionals.

Wow. What a schedule!

Tips hat, and wishes there was the ability to travel to RI for this...one day, not this time!

Best of luck to ALL coming to this event!
