Pokemon DP Power Packs (July 09, 2008)

Each HOBBY EXCLUSIVE Diamond and Pearl Power Pack includes a Diamond and Pearl Series 2 and 3 Booster, 1 EX Power Keeper Booster, 1 of 2 different Foil Character Cards, and a bonus pack of 6 Exclusive Foil Energy cards. The energy card foil pattern is unique to this box and is not available anywhere else. This product is limited to a run of 36,000 Power Packs. There will be no reprints on this item.

Hobby Exclusive means CCG Shops Only. So go to your local gaming store. Not Wal-Mart, Not Target, or any other store, just local card shops.

Anyways, I am pretty sure the Holo Energy is going to be the league energy that was left over from last year league season.

Where is this copied from? Why does it address Mysterious Treasures and Secret Wonders as "Series 2 and 3"?

I bet they wouldn't sell the Power Packs, let alone CASES of them in Australia though. XD.
 
If you're anywhere near Santa Clara CA, the place I hold my league at will have them!!! He was ordering them today!! Game Kastle FTW!!
 
I don't see why people like foily energy, it just bends up and looks weird.
 
I reckon I will buy a few boxes if I can find them anywhere in Tassie.


I have never been huge on holo energies and stuff. I am usually more into making my deck strong and consistent as opposed to flashy.
 
36,000 copies only? Is that per county or all together? I predict that these thing will be to die for on Ebay later, even though foil energy is so cheap.:biggrin:
 
I assume the 36,000 is total everywhere so it may be hard to find in some stores, or the stores will not get many of them. I'm more curious in wondering if the pack of 6 holo energy is one of each of the 6 basic enegys or if they are random.
 
Wonder if they'll make it down here. I don't really care if I have foil energies in my deck or not, but they're pretty... and great trade fodder. :D
 
Hey you can preorder this at toywiz.com. Here's a link "click here". Just thought I'd post this for the people who don't have local TCG stores. Though I don't think you can choose which holo energys you get:(.
 
Hmmmm, it says, "[t]he energy card foil pattern is unique to this box." in the product description in Chaos' link. It seems to me that they won't contain the foil energy left over from last year, but I guess we shall see.
