Strategy/Explanation:
Turn one is strictly set up. You won't be donking anyone or anything. I like to see 2 weedles and 2 cherubi on the bench by the end of turn 1. Turn 2 is rough, if you've been attacked or had a hypnotoxic laser played you HAVE to go for a way to remove the damage if Cherrim can't heal it away. Usually it can! Simply go for Beedrill and get the knock outs! If you don't KO their pokemon with 1 attack (which you usually won't), you still have an opportunity here. They have to waste a switch, retreat, or FLIP to attack you!
Max potion: You only need 1 energy to attack and you HAVE to be at full HP to do max damage, this is so important.
Virbank City Gym: This increases poison damage to 30 between turns. This is crucial for Beedrill's attack.
Mr. Mime: Darkrai and Landorus love attacking the bench. This will hurt a ton when you have a set up Beedrill on the bench getting smacked around. Mr. Mime keeps your bench clear of damage and is a must have VS pokemon that "snipe" the bench.
Mew EX: Mew can copy your opponents attacks which is good. I like it for knocking out those pesky Deoxys EXs and Mewtwo EXs. You can use Beedrill's attacks for x2 damage on them and nobody sets up a Deoxys EX if you don't one shot it. It's a great card and can tank for your Beedrill. It can also copy Shaymin's attack, but we'll get into that next.
Shaymin EX: The first attack is simply OK. This card is only played for the 2nd attack. A lot of decks out there are all about large basic pokemon that attack turn 1-2. You are always at risk for losing beedrill. Shaymin is implemented for those games where you can't get set up in time. You can easily get a few prizes with it late game too.
Cherrim: I feel this deck holds the best place for this card to really shine! You're now provided with a form of "potion" once per turn from Cherrim's ability, which coincides with Beedrill's attack (needing full HP).
Conclusion: A lot of "weird" cards that work together. I really enjoy playing the deck and I'm open to suggestions! Thanks for reading!
