Here's the deal; they're good for American product, but when compared to Japanese product they're just a joke, and when the Japanese product is readily available (like it is to me and a handful of people) the choice is obvious. But, back when they had those metal tins, one of them had the 3 birds on it (my favourite one =D) and those also spun-off into sleeves, why is THAT level of artwork not coming back, yet we get this bland garbage and that whole nidoking/scyther and friends stupidity with the earlier sleeves/deckboxes.

I liked the early ultrapro sleeves too. Very nice artwork. But here's the rub. Apparently the complex artwork made them easy to mark in such a way that a judge would be unlikely to notice. Whilst true that the vast majority of players wouldn't consider actually cheating like that; unfortunately it only takes one and we all have to live with the consequences.

ultrapro better make sleeves similiar to these japanese have like one background colour with an image that is in ONLY ONE COLOR

The art on these new ones is complex enough to easily cheat with, so I don't see your point.

I can't be the only one that loves the Pokeball deckbox, I mean its brilliant, Pokemon coming out of a Pokeball ;D

Looks like pretty decent pokemon material to me. I'll reserve judgement on the binders though until I see them. The actual binder clip inside is what I look for. I can see the top (or front part) of the binder folds overtop the pages like a good binder does. In other words the binder clips are attached to the back of the binder instead of the side panel. But I hope they have flattened rings on the one side instead of having both sides of the binder rings round. that way the pages stay flat instead of moving with every movement of the binder - scratching up the pages, and putting the cards at risk.

The stuff isn't horrible, but I think I'll stick to Player's Choice sleeves that come in packs of 60 and UFS card/deck storage (deckbox/binder).

I find the sleeves ugly as um...

I find those who enjoy the sleeve image to have little taste in art
I mean, if I want to see Sugimori images, I'd just look at my cards

*Just my opinion on this matter, don't take it too personal*
