Wanna start out weekly, and see how the attendence demands from there.
Basically the new league structure is based on 6 weeks. So its one of those things where you really need to go 6 weeks to get your badge and boosters.
We could compensate and do it every other week and have the sessions be 4 hours (like say 10-2) as opposed to 6 two-hour sessions or soemthing....we'll see how the first couple of weeks go.

Just got back from Niles. I ended up taking 4th in my division. I was 2 and 3. I ran a 1-1-1 line with caterpie, metapod and butterfree. Pokekid and I help jasonthepwnda clean up his cards, because they fell in the toilet when he was in the bathroom :lol: (no offense jason) But in all I thought it was fun. I pulled a Charizard EX, and a Moltres.

Round 1 vs. Brian (Arthas 0)
Quick game. In order of KOs, Jiggly got Spearow, Growlithe got Bulby and Spearow, Nidoran F got Diglett for the game. Good, quick, fun.

Round 2 vs Mr Lucas
I was scared silly this game. Made 2 stupid mistakes with my Growlithe early, thinking that his Bulbasaur was weak to [R] when it was actually weak to [P]. Came down to late game, and I had damage on all of his Pokes, it was just a matter of time before my Parasect, Scyther, or Dodrio got one of them for the game.
Win, 2-0, 6 pts
Round 3 vs Jeffery Vernola
I hate this kid. He cost me a T8 spot at SBZ2 and the GC, and he plays dirty. This game was a clean victory for him, as his Electrode ex wiped my field of everything. He eventually went on to win the 11-14.
loss, 2-1, 6 pts.
Round 4 vs ???
Sorry, I forget ur name... Anyhoo, I startedd with Clefairy vs his Ditto, and topdecked a Mander with Charmeleon in my hand, and he never got another BAsic. GG, sry it was so quick.
win, 3-1, 9 pts.
Round 5 vs. ???
He got 3 big guys set up, and I never really stood a chance here...
loss, 3-2., 9 pts.
After the main tournament, we played a $5 Modified tournament, as it was 4:30 and the store would close @ 6. I played mysychic: Strange Delusions sychic: deck, and Kelly played :grass: Poison Payback :grass:.
Round 1 vs (same guy in round 5) (Metagross/Milotic)
Metagross destroys Gardy, it's a proven fact. I stood no chance from the getgo. I did manage to kill off a Feebas using ATMR, but other than that, it was all him.
Round 2 vs (seriously can't remember...) (Scep/Muk ex)
This guy had no luck with his deck. He got out Sceptex, but got no energy, and my triple Gex onslaught absolutely destroyed him.
Round 3 vs Adam (Ice'Cold) (Magma deck)
He almost had me. He had a Groudon with 2 energies quick, but couldn't get the 3rd Magma Poke to win with. Also, his main attackers were weak to Psychic, making them easy prey for first my Gardy, then my Gex. 3 Groudons, 2 Claydol and something else later, it was all over.
I tied 3rd with Will, and I won the flip for the single pack prize. Everyone got one pack as a prize, this was for a 2nd.
Props:
Sean -- promos rule, and I like the idea of the selective giving of the promos to the winners of each round. Also, good tournament overall.
Jen (TRCassidy) and Jason E (ST Pika) -- YOU GUYS FINALLY MADE IT BACK!!!!!!!! (even if it was a little late, Jen)
Jen's mom -- for virtually forcing Jen to come back after she heard about the 5 grand scholarship for 2nd place Worlds.
the bathroom -- that was the funniest thing I've seen in a while, Pwnda.

Pastimes -- Not kool closing at 6 when we were more than ready to go till 10 or later...

i got 3 blastoise ex from this, giving me a total of 4. The only bad part was LOSING in a limited tournament for liek the first time ever. also the cards falling in the toilet part. Props to Denis and Sebastian for helping though.
