Pokémon TCG: Sword and Shield—Brilliant Stars

Nintendo DSi to be released april 5th 2009

Well, considering everything it's got built into it, I'd gladly trade the GBA slot away. This DS looks really sweet, actually, what with the built in Mic, the fact you can take pictures and what not, the music and more. I think this DS will be a lot better than the previous.

the only reason i wound get one is for the MP3 player or cameras unless nintendo releases something to replace the fact that there are quite a few uses for the GBA slot for pokemon games.

This is mega old news and have been discussed already.
It has more feature then the DS Lite and Internal storage and down loadable cpntent.
Thats why No GBA.
WHo knows the remake for G/S/C might make it for this.

Yeah, but seriously, how many people even use it for Pokemon? Outside of Pokemon and Guitar Hero for the DS, probably no one uses the GBA slot at all. So yeah, minor loss to me, nothing says you need to give up your old DS when you buy a DSi anyways (I plan on keeping my old phat DS).

I'm getting it, and Platinum.

you know that download old game thing it has. This could be our ticket to play GSC again. *squeel*

I was going to sell my playstation for this.
But I think I'll just wait around until my birthday.
Good thing is that it's 10 bucks cheaper than of what I thought it would be.

SERIOUSLY, the loss of a GBA slot isn't bad at all especially since chances are, you ALREADY have a DS lite/regular.
I will be buying the DSi, I'm just tired of people bashing it because it doesn't have a GBA slot >.>

And Jran as he pointed it out this is old news, I thought I posted it somewhere...

Yeah me, too. That's really what they needed to make this thing compete.

It's so much more conveinent to cary around one DSi instead of an iPod, a DS, a camera, and probably some other stuff.

I was getting an iPod, and I wasn't getting this because I wasn't too attratced to the camera, but it's a plus for sure. When I found out it played music, well... I get a camera, a MP3 player, and a Game Boy for 170$ vs. 200$ for an iPod? Sign me up.

I heard that the internet browser isn't too good on it (the old one), if they'd upgrade that so it had some decent internet surfing on it... Man that'd be sick!

Don't forget the SD card Toxictaipan, but you can still get a like 16GB for $35.
I already have a couple, they aren't big, but they'll do. And even if, that's still only 200$ for a whole bundle of things vs. buying them separately. One DSi is gonna cost me almost as much as one iPod, and it's offering me so much more.

Go buy a Digital Camera, a MP3 player, and a DS Lite and see what that costs. I got the DS lite when it was still like 130$ or whatever. Then if I go buy an iPod for another 200$ I'm losing money all around. And it comes with a decent camera built in? That's still a great deal even if you have to buy an SD card, but most people have one anyway.

wait dsi is how much again? my birthdays past april 5th and i might get platinum and dsi. its pretty much like a psp right except with ds?
