I LOLed. Why does Nintendo neglect to impose even LOGICAL rules?

That was the rule that I immediately laughed at. The most humorous part of my trip. Most of the other rules were just depressing...

Well, I wish I had the sheet, but I was pretty darn sure I remembered it saying "with more than one" being under the 300 stat restriction and discussing it with four other people there. It's possible all five of us misread it.

it was excluding hp. Umm the no shines rule isnt new, so that was cool. No items was interesting, so something new. Umm the stat 300 rule was extremely dumb and made no sense.....my friend went and when he told me that i was like what were they thinking >.> btw he didnt leave the tourney, he couldnt register, nor could have anyone else 2 days prior the tourney......like he said only 32 ppl so the cap was full quickly lol

Let me put it this way...
If you had a Level 100 Vaporeon, that was:
All 31 IVs, Calm, EVs: 6 HP, 252 Sp. Atk, 252 Sp.Def: 402 149 156 319 317 166: No.
All 31 IVs, Calm, EVs: 68 HP, 252 Sp. Atk, 192 Sp.Def: 418 149 156 319 301 166: No.
All 31 IVs, Calm, EVs: 72 HP, 252 Sp. Atk, 188 Sp.Def: 419 149 156 319 300 166: Yes.
(As 300 on the line was fine, as 300 was not more than 300. Yes, I had asked.)
All 31 IVs, Modest, EVs: 252 Sp. Atk, 252 Sp.Def: 401 149 156 350 289 166: Yes.

wow!!! i alway use Crobat and i breed for speed and attack so a crobat who is already one of the fastest pokemon in the game if his attack is too high i couldn't use him.
That means pokemon like alkazam who is naturally fast and high sp couldn't register.
thta means the tourney was won by
Snorlax
Skarmory
and or blissey.
mabey garchomp if he was slow enough.

i could see people scrambling to find those weaker pokemon just to register...lol

As I was explaining to another webmaster last night, the different parts of Pokemon are like different companies.
They each do their own thing, to a certain extent.

Whoever made the decsions should be smack across the head in my opinion because most of their planning sucks to put it in the kindest terms. Manaphy release was on the same weekend as a Major Pokemon Tourney Week. (I am not sure which one but I know there were tourneys on the same day).
Then this, and I am sure Darkrai is gonna end up being on the 12th know them and we will all get upset because we cant go to Regionals and Toys R Us on the same day.

1-manaphy was on a fall battle road day

2-i will do what i always do-at lunch break i take the carts from everyone at the tourny and for all of lunch i will be downloading darkrais for everybody.
