It realy does work better with it. As do Stantler varients and just about every deck in this format. Mewtric and Tauros/Aipom/Cargo in Ludi are just about the only exception to this.

the super stantler archtype by muk man, though the deck in my oppinion is rubbish, has no holon engine, but does use delt pokemon.
a completely non-delta pokemon deck would be one insanity made. using the energy boomerang (dellcatty and magneton)<- i like that name. with the extra raichu PK for a heavy attacker. it failed, mainly because he didn't really work on it to long.

I agree, Flariados is better with the engine. Though as far as I am concerned, the deck just isn't that good anymore.

70 very easily on T2 with 1 energy and one of the best disruptive attacks in the game? you can't just look at pure numbers. flariados has alot more going for it.

i played against flariados before, it got creamed against a deck i played (what deck was it...hmm...) but it just didn't do anything major, 2 seasons ago when slapping 50 on the opponent was great, mabe this would have been a great deck but;
70=not bad
burn=it's a flipper
confusion=i'll live with it, and let the bench mash it!

Minus heal energies and briney's, flaridos (yes, no longer donkados) will be a bigger threat then you think, lolganium, even with crystals. Its being played very different then last year, so expect to lose to it with that logic. ;/
