Pokémon TCG: Sword and Shield—Brilliant Stars

North Central, Central, and South West Ohio Autumn Battle Roads!

It was great seeing everyone and meeting some new people! I hope to see you in Columbus this weekend!

Way to go Deon! We always knew that you could do it.

And yeah to my Matthew for deciding he was finally going to win something and he did even pulling a Lv X from his prizes. Not shabby for a 7 year old. And congrats to Miss Fish on the win. It is great to have another nice Junior player in the area.

Good job on your first Battle Road it wasn't the same at Fort Worth battleroad without ya Fish

Thanks Rashad!! Missed you guys down there, but we tried to bring some Texas Talent up here!! Maybe States or Regionals... depends on how things workout!! Day 1 for me was HORRID but Day 2 found me in the T4 going 4-1 Swiss and losing to DL the eventual winner... so not to shabby for this ole Judge!

[EDIT] This post has been deleted. It is OK to be unhappy about a judging situation, and you can talk about it here if you present some valid points and support your position with some examples. Name calling just doesn't cut it.

Denny...You made your complaint with me about the situation on Saturday. That was handled very well, in my opinion, it was a tough situation, but it was resolved. I myself would have had trouble with it as well. That was a he said this, he said type of deal.

Sunday, the Stadium call was indeed a mistake, and I took care of it.

The main thing is, myself and my judges appreciate the feedback. It helps improve things. But attacks like this in a public forum is totally uncalled for.

This will not change my mind on who I use as judges. If you really have a problem with this, then I suggest you contact POP instead of attacking people in a public forum.

hey ryan plz tell me u r going to used better judges god **********************************

I stand behind Ryan 100% on this. Public forums are not the place brother man! He made it right with you and talked it over and is fixing the situation. Go into your My Pokemon account and report your issue with POP if you feel he didn't give you the answers you wanted. Everyone makes mistakes and learns from them! Nobody learns from flames like this.... just fix it D!

He didn't fix it in time. Now I get to fix it and he pays the price. Live and learn as my pappy used to say.

Congrats to all the Winners! Congrats to the Staff!

I am very Proud of My K-Bear who won her first Battle Roads!!

Mech went 3-1 and finished 5th, not a bad showing since it went to resist. Hard to control the others win/loss!

Fish!!

It was cute. On Sunday when Kait came up to me, I asked her if she was going to win again. She said "I hope so," and I wished her good luck. When she won, I congratulated her, and went back to my business. She came up to me later on and said to me "Thank you very much for believing in me." You're raising her well, Fish. I certainly hope to see you guys at Ohio states this year, and of course other tourneys. It was good meeting you as well.

Denny, you do realize that the only way judges can get experience is by judging? And that sometimes means making mistakes. As a judge, I could never say I have been 100% perfect at my rulings. I had to give out a game loss on Sunday to a player because he forgot to put out his prizes, and had already used a search supporter. Honestly, i wish I could have given out something a little less than that, but following the rules I followed at nationals, that was the exact penalty that was given out for that error. Because who knows if you searched for that Claydol....it could be in your prizes if you'd actually laid them during setup.

Thanks a lot... she had mentioned you gave her some encouragment! When she found out that the State Champ was in the house in her age group, it rattle her a bit.... I told her what I always do.. do your best and be your best and the best will happen.. win or lose! *sound liek an ash ketchum phrase!*

We will try to make it to some more Ohio Tournys.. it was a lot of fun and seeign some of my new friends from Nat and Worlds is always a bonus!!

GL with the rest of 'em!! We might make it but the rest are a good drive! If Sunday was at 10 instead of 12... that would've been great! Saves time driving back to Indy!!

I wasn't trying to attack anyone; I didn't mention any names, and after thinking about it, I'm not gonna go complain to POP, because it's only a BR.

Man thats jus low bro. "After thinkin bout it"? If u wanted 2 blow this up, u coulda done it in a more civilized manner.

On another note, WHO'S READY 4 THIS WEEKEND?!!

My gang is ready!

To help everything go smoothly, I would appreciate it if all of you tried to be ready by having your decklist filled in BEFORE you get to Guardtower. You can print blank ones from the POP website (http://www.go-pokemon.com/op/premie...road/autumn/docs/BattleRoad_decklist08_09.pdf ) plus there is a link on the 'gym to some that you can edit (http://pokegym.net/forums/showthread.php?t=73141 ). I like to type ours using Word that way I can make changes when needed instead of rewriting the whole thing!

I hope to see everyone this weekend!
