Pokémon TCG: Sword and Shield—Brilliant Stars

North & East Texas City Championships 2010-2011

Yep

Great tournament, so many people. Glad I made top cut, had a blast playing robert and johnny. Hope to see ya'll in Dallas and Sherman.

And who are you Porrii Sames?

I am very glad you were my opponent for my first top cut I always enjoy our matches during swiss and it could not have been a better three games hopefully I will get a chance agian in Dallas or Sherman....

Gee, I got props and I am in Colorado...

Christine - you can call me anytime with questions. I will always give you the best answers I can find (or make up some really good ones).

As for the event, sounds like a blast! Being prepped for 50 or so, thinking maybe 70 at the top end and then having 98 walk in to play is just plain awesome.

Sounds like the Players and the Staff we able to handle things pretty smoothly.

Sounds like controlled chaos, which is what I personally love.

I would like to thank all the people who VOLUNTEER SELFLESLY to run these events you give up your weekends so we can play pokemon... For the most part all the people who attend adults and kids alike are awsome and go out of there way to make you feel welcome.. We all need to keep in mind this is a free event so if you feel in any way cheated or get mad for loosing at a free event rember you may need to rember how you got here in the first place it was to have fun and if your an adult it probally has something to do with your child...

So much for humility congrats on another win Johnny.... Hopefully someone will put an end to the madness mabey in Sherman if you are brave enough to show.... jk:thumb: I must say congrats to myself for my first topcut lol...

Eh, it's joke-ogance: my favorite variety.

I love me.

Sounds like the Plano tournament was a blast. I would have made it too if I hadn't gotten lost. But how was I supposed to know that FM 544 was renamed Park boulevard? So I returned home, bored. But don't worry, I will be at the Sherman one...I've got a map of that place.

P.S. Don't forget that the sherman tournament is at the youth center, and not at the usual place card shop.

The Sherman City Tournament will be in the Sherman Youth Center (407 W Washington) , not Fantasy Quest Games. Directions to the Sherman Youth Center:

Coming from the South (Dallas/McKinney)
US 75 North into Sherman.
Take Exit 59 (Washington Street).
Get in the the right hand lane going past Bearcat Stadium and Circle K on the right.
At the traffic light (Washington Street) ,either go through the light and turn right into the parking lot, or turn right onto Washington Street and then turn left into the Youth Center and park behind the Sherman Chamber of Commerce.

Coming fron the West/North (Gainesville/Durant)
US 75 South into Sherman.
Get in the far right hand lane and take Exit 59 (Washington Street).
At the traffic light turn left onto Washington Street.
Either turn left at the light (US 75 North Access Road) and turn right into the parking light, or go through the light and turn left into the Youth Center and park behind the Sherman Chamber of Commerce

Unless we have a small turnout we will not be taking a lunch break. Shannon may take pizza orders that he can bring back for folks to eat between rounds. Shannon is also planning on having sleeves, packs and maybe some cards available for sale during registration.

^I sure hope everyone knows about this.

Maybe a sign should be taped to shannon's door saying that the tournament is in the Youth center, so that the guys who don't know will know.

If you attended the Watauga City, please verify your information has been corrected! TPCi has contacted me and verified there was an error but it has been corrected.

Good Idea. I guess I need to go shopping before we head up there.
