Woo hoo! My history class ends on Nov 28, so hopefully I can go to mckinney and/or dallas. Maybe tom bean and sherman will be over Christmas break; I sure hope so!

Excited to get to play again, finally!

Man, I really wish I could make one but I'll still be in Chicago. If they're are any around Christmas time, Birch, please let me know. I'd love to stop by.

Keep checking this thread. There will be City Championships around Christmas and New Years. Good to hear from you and looking forward to seeing you once again!!!

Hey, just think. In January, we'll have another pre-release. XD
Or in the next 3 months maybe. No, wait, that's City's.

We have another new tournament location in Sherman.

If you went to the Autumn Battle Road at the Senior Center, you can continue on Broughton Street 3 blocks and turn right on Vern Holland Memorial Dr to Music Street to the Glennie O Ham Center. It is part of the Martin Luther King Park area.

From Dallas (US 75)
Take US 75 North into Sherman
Take exit 60 “FM 131/North Travis Street” (Do not exit onto South Travis Street on the south side of Sherman.)
At the traffic light turn right (across the south side of Burger King) onto Vern Holland Memorial Dr
Music Street is the first street on the right after the stop sign at East Street on Vern Holland Memorial Dr

From Durant (US 75)/Gainesville (US 82)
Take US 75 South into Sherman
Take exit 60 “FM 131/North Travis Street”
At the traffic light turn left onto South Travis Street (US 75 underpass)
At the next traffic light turn left (across the south side of Burger King) onto Vern Holland Memorial Dr
Music Street is the first street on the right after the stop sign at East Street on Vern Holland Memorial Dr

If there is not enough parking in the parking lot, I have been told you can park in the grass near the center.

There will not be a lunch break so please plan accordingly.

There will not be a tournament in Tom Bean so this will be the only City Tournament in the Texoma area.

Dear PTOs: does anyone have plans to do tournaments on the 10th/11th or 17th/18th?

Word got to me that a few of y'all were planning on attending College Station on the 26th. I have RESCHEDULED College Station for January. Tyler, Texas has the only City Championships this Saturday.

I would expect a few Houston area players maybe in Tyler and for December 3 & 4 due to no tournaments in Houston until December 11.

Good luck to all and Happy Thanksgiving.

Well from December 5th through December 26th there are no "City Championships" for North Texas. I would think that Houston should expect a good showing of players from the Dallas/Fort Worth area to attend. :thumb::thumb:

Glad I saw this then, it's still up on the official site and me and friend had plans to go =/

Guess we'll go in January now
