No lunch break.

Crowley usually has a dinner break after swiss rounds. How long depends on the top cut players opinions.

what places are there to eat close to the library?

I can answer that one.
There's a couple: Sonic, McDonalds, Chicken Express (?), and there's a Mexican food place as well.
Course, there's also a small "corner store" you can find some snacks and maybe food + drinks at.
If you go down Crowley road, you can find a Dairy Queen.
