I'm not made of money either. But if it would work like that, I think boxes cost $60. That's absurd, being able to make 4x what you paid? Buy one box, get $240 you can buy four more, get almost $1,000!

Very Flawed If you can find ADV ex1 boxes for less then 60 bucks IN STOCK PM me the addy and Ill send you a free ex.

I doubt youll find it, IF you can find a site that sells the energy and has them IN STOCK Ill give you a Free Zappy EX

Hmmm, I see I missed an interesting little discussion last night! I think Krayzie pretty much summed things up.

The boxes, when available, retail for $60 - 70, plus shipping (circa $12 shipping from Japan), so one box from Japan will cost about $80. And (also posted above) that's 20 packs, so $4.00 per. Out of 20 energies, 8 types, you'll get an average of 2 - 3 per type. So if you're wanting just Lightning, for example, you've paid as much as $40 per energy (of course you also get 20 holo, 3 or 4 of which are holo ex, and those can be traded or sold, but you get the idea of how much time/expense/trouble it is to get just the energies you need that way).

Shaw, true enough, if I were just in it to make money, I suppose I could buy boxes, trade for exes, sell them and buy more boxes (hey, Drew, do you see a plan there?!?!?), but I am just trading the quickly dwindling supplies of energies I have and want to get the most bang for my buck.

Anyway, for those that have asked, I'll give about 2 rares to a holo's worth in trade for a few TRR Prerelease cards. Many of them will be given to League members who couldn't attend, so I won't give lots for them.

So, like what Shaw proposed would be right in line with my thinking - a Prerelease for a RH :). BTW, my Haves are linked from my first post, but specifically they are found in post #3 and #5 (on page 1)!!!

I'm really hoping there might be someone out there with a small stash of Houndooms available that can help me out!

Metal Master - Yes, a BBS holo :D! I'll look 'em over and LYK which one(s) are coolest!

zillanerd - I'll check with a couple of sources and LYK if I find any available.

Thomas33 - we haven't yet received our boxes of TRR, so nothing yet in the way of Haves.

I've got 2 pre-releases and P_A's got 5 I think. Between two of us, you can run a pre-release tournament yourself :)

Hmmm, now there's an idea! :D lol Oh, oops, I found the flaw in that line of thought - I'm still not a PTO, so no official Prerelease tournaments for me ;).

p_a - I'm sure he was just understating your haves out of defference :). I'm looking for about a dozen, all together (from all trades). About the badges - it sounds like they're worth more to you than to me. I have a source of old WotC badges here, just too lazy/busy to follow up on it... :p. We need to start in earnest on trade talks, though!

Now, Brian, have you never gone to a garage sale? I keep throwing offers your way, and you never make counter offers! You're supposed to say "I'll do that deal if you throw in, ........" Come on, get with the program!

In any case I have lots available of both pre-release card, and pins. Plus I have a POP series 1 Blaziken. I hope you don't think I've been overly unreasonable with my trades. Just give me an offer.

Well, I am waiting for you TRR list to be up, and then I will suggest a trade. I guess I have to put one myself too, but all TRR I have at the moment for trade are Moltres EX, Dark Slowking and RH Mareep. I guess you solved your problem regarding the pre-release stamped cards with the guy who first bits me at the tournament and then calls me his friend.

p_a - I'm not being a good Garage Sale customer, sorry :). I guess I'm kind of biding my time until the TRR arrives (it's a week overdue now), so I'll have something to offer!

zillanerd - I have only a small quantity left for trading. Other than Dark and Metal - I have multiples of those.

Drew - I'm confused - what are you saying?? :confused: I have English holo energies!

oak - Did my sarcasm meter just go off?! :rolleyes: I'm not yet satiated on Prerelease Houndooms...
