Strategy

Field Crobat ASAP, through evolution or Candy, and use Ultra-Toxic Fang/Hypnotoxic Laser in combo with Crobat's free retreat and Giratina's Hex attack for quick 180-point KOs. Use Supporters, Crobat and Metagross to dig through the deck while recycling with Colress and Shadow Triad.

Immediate goals

~ -2 Plasma Frigate, +2 Virbank City Gym
~ Streamline TSS block. It's still kind of clunky.
~ Either +1 Giratina or +3 Snorlax. Or maybe 2-2 split.

I'm kind of on a budget right now, which is why I went Poison Plasma as opposed to Rush. The deck really needs the Virbanks to help when I'm setting up Crobat. The TSS block is scary, I know. No Catcher, so I run an Escape Rope as a placeholder until I can get one. Other than that, any suggestions or recommendations are welcomed.

First of all, is the Metagross you listed the Plasma Search'ing one and not from BW since that set has rotated out? If so, it is from the Plasma Freeze set and would, no doubt help facilitate your setting up 2 stage 2 lines.

Not knowing what you may be able to get, trade for, borrow, etc., following is a suggested Trainer block for Supporters:
3 Colress
4 N
2 Professor Juniper (or 4 Cheren)
2 Skyla

And for Poké search support (in addition to Metagross), consider the following:
2 Level Ball
2 TP Ball
2 Ultra Ball

BW 75 is the Pre-release Promo Metagross, but yes, it is PLF 52 Plasma Search. I can probably get a couple of Junipers and more Ns. Already run TP ball, but I am looking for more ball-type search. Hopefully maybe a Master Ball if I can find one.

As usual I must point out that Pokemon Catcher is in the Volcanrana theme deck in Plasma Blast.
If you need them (they are also in the Boosters as well).

Anyhow the one thing that hurts this deck (I was running something similar) is the Virbank Gym.
If you do the attack with Crobat (with Virbank) it does 100.

However if your opponent has a poison themed deck as well, it's usually not a good idea to have Virbank out.

Though I am tempted to try this version to see if it works better than my idea.

With Giratina having a high retreat (if it doesn't have Plasma Energy)
You might need a Float Stone or Darkrai EX (with dark energy).

So if you take out the Plasma Frigate, you might run into a situation where you don't want Giratina out.
Thus it becomes venerable to heavy hitters (most EX).

OK so I built a slight variation to this design on PTCGO.

Not sure if I had any Double Colorless energy, so I put in 3 Ghestis (why can't I get these in real life packs?)
Plus I totally forgot Mr. Mime.
Also since I don't like playing Rare Candy, I didn't put it in.

Played 3 games on Expert (against the CPU).

The only issue I had was not drawing the cards I needed.
Or sometimes the hand would get cluttered with too many Pokemon.
