are any of you still going to league at Rock on Sundays?...is anyone going this coming Sunday May 17th?

I just checked on the Pokemon site for battleroads schedule and didn't find one for NYC. Could it be possible that we will not get one?
 
I'm pretty sure that people still go to league at Rock on Sundays. There is definitely a BR at Kings Games June 13th, it was announced at the RR prerelease. Were you there, cause then I might know you. PM about that.
 
hello all ....is anyone going this coming Sunday to Rock, June 7th?....doesnt anyone need practice for BR, Nats, Worlds....or is everyone that good???....we need the practice....we are the worst....help!!!!
 
Are there any professors in NYC that will be willing to start an official league? Maybe in Rockefeller. Or maybe in a Gamestop or something that has a back room or basement.

Are there any leagues to go to? Heights of Gaming in Queens (just found it on Craigslist) says it is an official league location...
 
^It is. There's also 1+ in Staten Island. Anyone go to Heights of Gaming? Is there public transportation there?

Go to Google Maps, click on "Get Directions", and just enter your address and the address of the place you want to go to. You can select "by public transit" to get subway/bus directions. That's how I got to King's Games. Keep in mind that the time it says it will take you to get there does not include waiting for trains or train delays.

I would just take the F all the way to Roosevelt Ave. 74th St - Broadway. Station, but I live right next to the F, so...
 
NY hasn't had a steady league for a while now. Really, you won't be getting in too much practice if you go to the other places, not too many "good/experience" players from NY go there. We sometimes meet up at Rock before States/Regionals but that's really it. Just a hint of advice.

Okay, great. Unfortunately I will be away from July 4th - August 7th, but I may be able to go to the league on July 7th. Will you be attending? :smile:
