At the CC in South Bend, there were only four seniors, as there had been an ice storm, and turnout was low.
With no top cut, the champion was to be determined by win percentage. However, ALL FOUR of the seniors finished with a record of 2-3. There were two players tied based on opponents' win percentage, so the championship was decided by opponents' opponents' win percentage.
Luckily, my son was ahead on that tie-breaker by 4/10ths of a point, so he ended up winning the division with a losing record!
Needless to say, we were stumped when they called his name, but you take what you get, I guess.
