here's an interesting one . . . a mother brings her child to league to play. takes off her jacket, and she has a huge tattoo of a naked woman on her arm. what do you do?

Tell her she has to cover it up or they have to leave. That's obvious, isn't it?

Ask her to kindly remove her arm and put it in her handbag. DuH!

Totally up to herself.

It's not like anyone hasn't seen a naked woman before...

First post on this forum in months because this actually properly arose my attention, lol.

The way I see it, it's always the Head Judge's final decision over anything in the tournament, especially if this 'prof' is a player in this event. If the head judge and/or store owner believes it is unsuitable, then the t-shirt in question should be covered up, or the player should be asked to leave the tournament area.

As Ryu99 stated earlier, this is a family orientated game and so players, judges and spectators should always take care to notice that in and around the tournament area.

I would ask the person to change the shirt or turn it inside out. It makes me think though that if I even become a TO then I will order an extra prof shirt and keep it in my supplies bag. There are many other reasons a judge may need to change - spills, tears, etc.

If she came to my league, I would ask the store owner to confront her. My owners will do that.

If she came to one of my events, independent of a store, I would tell her it would either need to be covered up, or she would have to leave. If she was uncomfortable leaving her child, then the child would have to leave as well.

If she went into any "Freedom" issues, I would let her know how to contact PUI, would get her name, or a description of her and the situation, and e-mail PUI and let them know what I did, and that they could be hearing from someone.

I don't see the big deal. you can't avoid it. I mean if was something XXX or a giant exploding heart, yeah don't wear it. but a swear? bah. kids these days can't read an instruction manual less a swear.
That is so closed minded; no wonder the nations youth is corrupt!

Ask her to cover it up; it is for kids after all...

Totally up to herself.

OMFG, none of you get SOTG or the entire "family-orientated" thing do you?
We don't say Pokemon die during battle, they get KO'd. Why? More child friendly.
We don't talk about Pokemon breeding or the nuptuals involved do we. Why? More child friendly.

So if someones gonna come with an offensive slogan, with a bad attitude, or just generally no sympathy for the innocence of our youth, why the heck should they be allowed to play???

The last few posts:
You're lucky I'm giving you the benefit of the doubt on the acronym.
If you think that might be a problem at a tournament, DON'T YOU THINK IT WOULD BE A PROBLEM HERE???
