If you are booking your tickets or coming down to pay and play on the day here are the prices for you.

First off if you pay online and in advance:

Adult Concessionary Fee for the Christmas Fair - £4
Entrance Fee to City Championship - £2
Total - £6

Child Fee for the Christmas Fair - £2-50
Entrance Fee to City Championship - £2
Total - £4-50

Family Ticket for Christmas Fair (2 Adults, 2 Children) - £12-50
Entrance Fee for 4 players into City Championships - £8
Total - £20-50

As you can see the prices are not extortionate and you get a chance to play league before and after the CC and of course there is the Christmas Fair to enjoy as well. So you can get your Xmas Shopping done and play the CC too - BARGAIN!

If you don't book in advance the prices are:

Adult Concessionary Fee for the Christmas Fair - £5
Entrance Fee to City Championship - £2
Total - £7

Child Fee for the Christmas Fair - £3-00
Entrance Fee to City Championship - £2
Total - £5-00

Family Ticket for Christmas Fair (2 Adults, 2 Children) - £15-00
Entrance Fee for 4 players into City Championships - £8
Total - £23-00

So our advice is book in advance and save yourself some money for the lucky dip :thumb:

COOL!!! I've already got my tickets!! hehehe btw just need to know (this is really the only place to put it....) who is Ben R????

Looks like Leeds is the only one I can make at the moment. :'( Anyone from Manchester fancy travelling there with me?

Although I could go to Crayford and Mitcham while I'm London over Xmas I suppose, as long as mates don't expect me to indulge in festive cheer with them. And then Blackpool's an outside possibility.

Good job Sami, you've driven everyone else away.
Of course, my lack of common sense means I'll be going anyway.

Monday 8th December. Full details will go up when I have a spare 5.

Thanks

Chris
Ooh, I actually have no lectures on Mondays. I shall look into this at once. Which station: North, South or uh, Pleasure Beach?

Okay, booked tickets.

Dunno, it says 4.30-8 on the pop site though. As usual, when I book tickets from nationalexpresseastcoast they've backfired, so I shall book again at the station tomorrow because thetrainline is a expenses-charging *****.

Any idea what happened to cardiff????? and what time is blackpool??? is it the usual late night gaminjg???

Cardiff is still in Wales as far as I am aware - city has not moved for quite some time.....:thumb:

If you mean the CC tho - I will chase this.

Hi all, my listing just to clarify, as myself I can't seem to find it on the POP site

EU_UK Blackpool City Championship
Monday 8th December 2008
St. Johns Conference Centre
Cedar Square
Blackpool
FY1 1BP
Start 5pm
(Entry from 4.30pm)
Cost: £3
My phone is: 07939478483
Email: [email protected]

The train station is Blackpool North. I would expect a 9pm finish. Any other questions please ask.

Apologies if the Monday causes anyone problems. I had a room booked for the 6th since September, but once the listings went up I saw it clashed with Manchester Fanboy3, and it was too late to move Saturdays.

Til then,
Stef

Oh and doors are open from 10.30am – 5pm at Brigton on both days.

I take it Mr Kish will want to start registration pretty close to 10-30am on Saturday and end it somewhere around 11-20am?

O, Ok. I've updated the POP link to 10:45am reg and 11:30am start, so make sure your on time.

I've also noticed that the website has been updated www.wonderlandexhibitions.co.uk
I really want to know that the "Pokémon King of Games Tournaments" is.

[DEL]And i read somewhere that there is a free bus, but i need to look into it cause I can't find any information on at the moment.[/DEL]
Here it is.
By Bus

A courtesy bus service operates from Brighton Station to the course from approximately 2 hours prior to the first race. The bus parks 200 yards south of the station (at the top of Queens Road). There are return journeys to the station after racing.

I'll see if I can find more.

What would be really awesome would be some directions from the station. Thanks.

Steve,

king of games is just a format to use for multiple 8 or more player KO tournaments where going out in round 1 gets you 1 point going out in round 2 gets you 3 points and going out in the final gets you 4 points and 6 points for winning. Collate the points at the end of the day and voila King of Games.

We obviously will not be running King of Games during the CC but before after and on the Sunday - There are prizes for all places and for League play and King of Games play as well as for the CC.

Best bet on the website link is to use the one to the entrance fee page as I did which is :
