Ok, so DevOns making me write a Maryland Gym Challenge Report, so bare with me, because if ya know me, you know I'm bound to get something wrong. :biggrin:
Round 1: LBS VS Medicham/Medicham ex deck
My first round was pretty cool. The kid was extremly nice, and it was his first tournament in 11-14. I was able to get a Latias* along with a Holon's transiever along with a few other cards. I was able to get my setup right away. I was able to top deck a Pidgeot, and I already had evolved Pidgey into Pidgeotto with Jarachi during my secound turn, so I just set up extremly fast and Steelix ex did the rest, and he was unfortunate enough to never get out his Medicham ex, so I won.

Round 2: LBS VS Flaireados
So everyone thought I was going to lose this round (witch I kinda thought 2) but I just had an awsome start and pulled out my Blastoise ex and was just hiting over and over for the game.

LUNCH BREAK
Lunch was the best. Mr. Hill went to Eatzs with our orders and what I got was SOOO good, and was WAY better than Subway:tongue:

Round 3: LBS VS Slowking
I totally lost this macth. I tend to always lose my 3rd macth for some reason. What shut me down was the Lunatone/Solrock Combo, plus I had a sorta/kinda bad start and I just like plain out lost:frown:

Round 4: LBS VS LBS
MIRROR MACTH! So I knew from people who played LBS that to win a mirror macth, you needed to get set up fast and just knock out their Pidgeot before they knock out yours. So, with me being a luck sack that day i was able to get the first setup with Holon's Transciever and was just knock out after knock out.

Round 5: LBS VS Rock Lock
Ok, I couldn't remeber this game untill I was reminded through PM today (5/30/06). This game was extremely close, and I remember being extremly nervas during the whole game because I knew I had to win this won to be garunteed Top 8. I remember using my Lugia ex and Mex ex to one hit KO his pokemon, but before I remember using Steelix to get rid of the weeker things. I was also informed that if he had drew a Heal energy he could have won the game. Good job Patrick, ya did really good!

First Round: LBS VS Flareados (The same one)
1st Macth: Our first game was extremly quick, I set up my Blastoise ex and Pidgeto and he couldn't get anything:frown: so I just kept knocking out each turn for the first macth win!
2nd Macth: He actually got a better start this time. I went 2nd. He started with a Eevve, and attached an energy to call for family. My turn I trancieverd for the Mentor and set up. During his next turn he was used 2 Great Balls. My next turn I top deck a Steven's and draw for 4. From that hand I was able to set up the Blastoise and do the same thing that I had done to him the first game
Top 4!
Secound Round: LBS VS Arcanine ex
Ok DevOn, here's the part you wanted me to do so bad!
1st Macth: Our first game was close, but I was like the most luckiest person that day and drew everything I needed. I was shut down my Solrock and Lunatone for awhile but I had my Blastoise set up and knocked the 3 out; and of course after like 2 rounds of having Lunatone's gone I realize that I can Quick Search
. But from then on I had that game.
2nd Macth: We both got setups and my luck wasn't with me this round, I sortof had an energy near the end so he hit my poor Jarachi on the bench to take his last prize.
3rd Macth: At this point I'm stressed abit out, lol. It would all come down to this game. He started with 2 Lunatone's and a Solrock, and then he Moon Guidenced for a Swoop Teleporter. I drew, and then got the tranciever again to set up the whole thing and It was really really close at the end, but I was able to pull it off with a Lugia ex!
Top 2!
Final Round: LBS VS Medinite
1st Macth: If you asked everyone there who wacthed the game they would tell you, "HE GOT EVERTHING HE NEEDED!". It was a great game and my poor friend Will coulndn't pull it off at the end, this first macth was a 1 to 1 prize game!
2nd Macth: I really thought I was going to lose this macth at the begining! I started with a Latias* and a Squrtle, NO TRANCIEVERs:frown: , and he starts with a Magnite Call Beldom. He goes first and gets heads for Magnite Call. I draw, nothing! He draws and plays an ADMIN!!! I was SOOOOOOO HAPPY! I got the Tranciever, a Rare Candy, Energys, a Warturtle, a Holon Scientist! I was really excited now! I Holon Mentord for the setup and retreated for the Jarachi, I attached my energy and Made a Wish. THERE WEREN'T ANY PIDGEOTOS! I was like "great", lol. He does a bit of damage to my Jarachi, and its my turn. So I'm like "I NEED A PIDGEOT!", and he has like 10 cards in his hand, so of corse I play the Scientist. I got the Pidgoet and alot of the other cards I needed! He knocked out 2 of my Jarachies and then I brought out Steelix ex and started hitting things left and right. I HAD A GODLY HAND! I had all of the Holon Electrode in my hand, I set up another Steelix ex, and once i used 3 Holon Electrodes I Recievered them into my deck and i WON!!!!!!!!
I WON I WON I WON WON WONNNNN!!!!!!!
GOOD JOB WILL AND EVERYONE ELSE, YOU DID AWESOME!

Props are to everyone that I played (DevOn, Will, etc.), the Hills for going to Eatzs to get us lunch (and being such great friends), the Barlocks most deffinetly for takeing me (and being such great friends), Tatiana for praying for me on the Iffle Tower (I think thats how you spell it?), Zena, Tad, and Randy for being really really good supportors and friends throughout the day, Blane and his sister Tes for being so kind and funny, and Michael R. for winning the 15+, good job dude!
