The tournament will actually start after registration, roster verification, players meeting, etc., so probably around 10:30

Pre-registration for the main event will end at 4pm this Friday, April 1st. There are some special entries still available for the event, so if you want that be sure to let me know. It's a first come first served basis for them.

Pokemon is new to my son and I. What is Swiss style format and what does top cut mean. Sorry for the silly question but we want to be ready next weekend when we come.

Not silly questions. It's important for any player to know whats going on.
Swiss style means everyone gets to play every round, no matter if they win or lose or tie their match. Each round after the first, the tournament program will pair those within their age group with like records, (wins and losses), against other players with like records.
After the swiss rounds are over, the top cut means those with the best records of win, loss and ties advance to the top cut, (maximum of 8 players), where to advance you win your match. This is played until a single winner is declared.

I may go to the tournament, I'm going to have to take a plane, though, does anyone know of any other shuttles to use to get there?
I only know of Shuttlewizard and Uber (I know it's a taxi service and not shuttle, but it's a similar service), but I'd like to know some additional options, especially if they're cheaper.
Thanks.
