Can you use old pokemon cards in official tournaments? For example the original switch from basset vs switch swsh01. They read similar but not the exact same text. So can I use the orignal switch from the base set. As long as I play my the errata version?

Yes. Cards that have the same game effect, even if they don't have exactly the same text, can be played.
Switch would count as one of those.

Also, you can play old versions of cards that have received an errata, such as Potion.
