Pokémon TCG: Sword and Shield—Brilliant Stars

Ontario Battle Roads Spring 08

guys please, lets all be cool, we all know who has the most meta-game breaking decklist here :D hahahahaha

we'll see ;) hopefully i can win something more this weekend and see if i can defend the title as national champ, maybe make it two in a row?

HAHAHA just kidding, though it'd be nice to go and meet up with some good friends at Vancouver and participate at nationals!

Matt, i'm going to retire my deck and say it's undefeated against your "current" GG list XD how do you like them apples!

P.S. Bidier! your favourite card, yeah you know which one i'm talking about  remember who showed you what it can do XD, i'll probably play it on the weekend.

Unfortunately for me though, i'm behind in life right now because i lost like 99% of my Pokemon cards due to a very horrific and sad incident that has taken place in my room; :frown:my 65 gallon fish tank shattered leaving my whole room and basement flooded wiping away the majority of my cards and ruining some of my expensive transformers!!!

BUT i'm still happy though all my fishes are safe!!! and that's all that matters:biggrin:

Let me know what you need to get back into shape, and I'll see what I can spare. Hate to see a talented guy like yourself have very limited means to play properly. Hey, I'm serious. Pm me and let me know - fishes or no fishes.

Geneses: That sucks (at least your fish are ok). If you need to borrow cards talk to me, my bro, and my dad.

Everyone: Zach goes rogue FTW (maybe L:lol:) in Angus (you will all see that I can be creative)

Yes, Zach was a bit more creative at Angus, and won. Too bad we had such a small turnout - only 14 people total. However we had a good time anyway. After the event we did some trading, which we seem to never get the chance to do nowadays, and still made it home in lots of time for dinner. I wish the arrangements for pizza hadn't fallen thru though.

So how did the remaining events go on the weekend, and especially the Canadian professor cup?

Turnout in Georgetown was great at 41 people (17J/7S/17M). We had 22 players for the Theme Deck Challenge and 8 Professors for the PAT.

Winners for the BR were, Matt K., Micheal L. (I think) and Brent S.

We screened the new Darkrai movie to keep people interested between the end of the BR Swiss and Side Events starting and we did manage to feed 41 + Spectators Pizza. We went from 9 to 6, and then had to move the finals for the PAT back to my place because we got kicked out of the Hall.

It came down to Robin versus Genesis in the final and after an incredibly close first game that took nearly 50 minutes, Genesis pulled out the win. Time ran out early in the second game, so Genesis is the PAT champion this year.

It was a whole lot of fun. I'll put my thinking cap on and figure out what I'm going to do for the end of the season next year!

Thx to everyone who came and made it a great day.

Yah, I knew Robin and Geneses would make finals because they are Roguers x9999999! lucky Geneses, he might as well do a 2-peat at nats:lol: What were the decks?

I had basically the same deck as Geneses, but I had to drop because the day went on much longer than I thought it would, and I needed to leave for work

Sean that sucks, but, you have to do what you have to do
Geneses: "I did reported it here with my list" lol, speak english much:lol:
