Woo Hoo,

I'm in a fierce competition with Mike Bays for most Play Points without a Championship point! He's got me by 1 at this point.

Yes...I'm that guy  See you all this weekend!

Salem for sure- I will be there if nothing keeps me from attending.

I'd say prepare for trouble on the 28th, but there'll be no Rocket action on the 5th at Guardian Games due to an outbreak of Free Comics on Free Comic Book Day.

I'm really looking forward to the medford tournament next saturday! We had 33 at our last prerelease, I'm hoping for more now that we've re-opened our Ashland league! :D

What a great start

We're off to a great start on opening weekend. There were 101 unique players at Round Table in Milwaukie and 42 in Corvallis at the Elks Club. If we get 100 plus at Guardian, which certainly seems possible it will be the first time we have ever had two prereleases break the 100 mark in a set release. Excitement is high, the EXs are great and the trainers abound in this set. Come on down to Guardian or Astral Games next Saturday, and don't forget the wrap-up at Borderlands on Sunday.

Thank you BDS, Mr. Raichu and Momma June for spending your Sunday with us in Corvallis. We appreciate your time, help and generosity.

And thank you to the players who traveled: we appreciate your support. And thank you to the Elks for letting us play there for free. And thank you to my dog for everything he does. I better stop. Regards, Linda

So apparently Portland yesterday and Salem today had such high attendance that booster drafts were cancelled on both days. A mix of good and bad news but it's still awesome that we had so many new faces in Salem for a Prerelease. Thanks to all who came and a special thanks to the Clantons for coming down and running the event. Also, Mr. Raichu now that my Juniors have seen the Victoria's Secret bag they now have new ways to torture you... Pichu.:lol:
