Does guard on unown G stop over confident?

i was just wongering because I didn't know if that was an effect of the attack

10 damage
if the defending pokemon has fewer remaining HP than Sableye, this attack's base damage is 40.

Even if you have an Unown G, you might still be overconfident and lose. Unown G isn't THAT good. (Even though I took all 6 prizes with it in a game on Saturday.)




And on the off chance that wasn't your question, Sableye's overconfident attack does damage so I'm 95% sure that Unown G does not influence how much damage it does.

It's damage done. G never stops damage or gets in the way of how it's calculated.
