Perfect deck

In a deck there are 3 parts. The Pokemon, the Energy and the Trainers.
Now what would be a good numer for each part and what would the max number for each part be.
Would 23 pokemon be too much and would 16 energy be too less?

Thanks in advance

It all depends on the type of deck u r using!!! Cause a deck that does really well usually needs like 30 trainers or something around there so that way trainers can help u win!!!

IT ALL DEPENDS ON THE DECK

I've personally played decks with 27 Pokemon before (Holons counting as energy). It works fine because it was a deck that could survive with minimal trainers and energy.

I agree with spinach on this one. It is ridiculous to suggest that there is one perfect build for all decks.
A 14-21-25 build may be perfect for LBS but not for Powdacham.

I only build decks the way the starter deck with Macham taught me.

20 Pokemon
30 Energies
10 Trainers

can't go wrong with the basics.

The guy that taught you is a n00b. Obviously 70 energy is better:rolleyes:

20 pkmn
15 energy
25 trainers

thats the general, general listing, normally the numbers deviate by 1-2 for each category(not counting t2 decks)

i'm with Spinach on this one. it depends on the deck, nothing is perfect for all decks. i usually try to stick to less than 20 pokes, more then 20 trainers and less than 20 energy in decks that don't really matter how they are built, but ryanvergal's looks good so you might go for that. but there is NO perfect set of cards for a deck. none
