First and foremost, thanks for explaining the Piglet Draft. My son did not make day 2 of Nats. He experienced emotions for not making it to day 2 SO I see that this is an excellent vehicle for maintaining spirits, interest, and friendships. Kudos for the orignal idea.
Also, I think that you and everyone else that are chipping in are genuinely contributing without any expectation other than making the children feel good. That is admirable.
What I have to offer for prizes can be some ex's from my collection. I do this gladly.
I do have a question.

Are we to understand that the kids will play the Piglet Draft on Saturday nite after the rounds of worlds are over? If our first experience at Nats is akin to what will be our first experience at Worlds, then the rounds will end somewhere around 7 pm. Having a draft after that time may be a little too much for the kids.
I know that the 7, 8, and 9 year olds were pretty tired after the 7 rounds. Are we asking too much from them?

MC doesn't come out until AFTER worlds. There are prereleases on sunday of worlds, though.
The only way Vince could aquire American MC (to my knowledge) is if he ordered it for a prerelease. Prereleases are supposed to cost $20.
So...is it legal for Vince to buy the prerelease product but not charge for the prerelease? I know it would be costing him personally due to the lack of profit from the tournament, but is he even supposed to be doing it according to PUI standards or whatnot?
Folks: Give Vince a break! He is a PTO who will be running PRs the wkend before Worlds and the wkend after Worlds, I'm sure. MC will not be official until after Worlds, but there will be PRs of MC at Worlds too!! Vince gets plenty of product (out of his own pocket too!) to run this. If PUI wants to throw some product in also, they can. He does this for the KIDS. Why are some of you trying to knock the fella for doing a GREAT thing for the younger set??? Stop being a "playa-hater" and support the dang thing. WOOT CHAW PIGLETS!!

Pokedaddy: You will be amazed at how fast those lil ones spring back after those rds of Worlds. The tourney will only be 3-4 rds (if I recall last yr correctly) and the young-uns will be resting shortly thereafter.

PUI is more than aware of this event that takes place every year, and supports my efforts.
Yeah, I buy the product out of pocket for this, but this is my culmination of supporting the younger age group every year...I put my money where my mouth is.
There is a required charge for PreReleases, but this is NOT being run in the PreRelease format. This is being run in an after-event (draft format) that PTOs are allowed to buy extra product for. I always have considered this an after event - a long time after event from my PreRelease schedule.
It is not sanctioned. It can't be. It is not an open event, I restrict the attendance.
Pokedaddy....you will be amazed at how much energy the little ones still have. This is the event after the event...but I know some of the kids will sleep in the next day for a LONG time...they would have anyway.
Last year we had players from 4 countries in the Piglet draft, I want to triple that this year!

Don't worry. Those that can't play in the piglett draft or the professor tournament will have a tournament at worlds.
