Piglet Draft at Nationals....

Charlie and I are both looking forward to Nats, and your Piglet Draft in particular. I look forward to helping anyway I can, don't really care about staff prize support (I just give it to Charlie anyway).
 
I've heard such great things about the Piglet Draft that Vince Does! We are excited!! Well....will be more excited if playing day 2.......but Piglet Draft is right up there!! :smile:
 
Vince, would you like prize support early so you have an idea of what you have or would you rather we just bring it along so you don't have to stash stuff at the hotel???
 
I actually have my wife there, and a gaggle of St. Louis area parents here to help me this year, so I will be able to take any of your generous donations on Friday, or whenever you would like to get them to me.

Product marks my only player limit. At this point, with my case, I have enough for 42 players, 5 packs each, or (which can work with DP) 54 players 4 packs each, with door prizes for every player.

With Lawman, PUI, and others still tossing donations at me, we will certainly be above that number.

Like all previous years, the goal is to turn NOONE away if at all possible!

Thanks for all your excitement and support...are we REALLY only 4 days away???!!

How about this schedule Vince? Tomorrow, Bday party for my youngest, grilling out, family and friends over. Cake & ice cream. I then put on the fireworks display at dark. Clean up mess, go to bed, get up early and pick up 2 other young uns and hit the road for Ohio starting approx 8 am Thurs! Get to Columbus at hotel check in time (goal).

(Note to self...pack the goodies for Vince early.....like Weds night!)

Cant wait to see everyone again and meet even more folks! See ya in Ohio!

Judges, as always, you were the best (and can be bought off with so little!)

This, as always, was truly an enjoyable event to run.

I look forward to next year...and...um...will I be running it at Worlds????

Who knows...I thinks I have enough dice left!!!!

Vince: So good to see you and the family again. Glad to see your wife out a bit after feeling ill. You do soooooo much for the game and give back so much to the Poke community. It was a pleasure to Judge in the JRs this year and get to see Andrew and Zach in action.

Vince, I'm glad I was able to briefly say hello, and happy to donate those plushies and figures to the cause!! Sorry we were not able to attend. ds needed food and SLEEP because he was moving on to the finals! I heard from a few that it was LOADS of fun times for all!!! Hope to be part of this great event again next Nationals!!

Its always a pleasure to give to the lil piggies! Its funny that more of the boys wanted the rings than I had thought...lol I wonder how many have lost those cute lil treasures I found??

Fighting over the plushes...Oh no way....I wonder who was doing that??? Hummm Humm?!?!?! :nonono:

It was a blast to be a part of this rather crazy event! Im not sure my body was happy with me for staying up to do so after that lil fall I took earlier in the day, but thats ok, Im still hurting from it...lol It will soon pass, Im hoping! lol

Thanks again to everyone who donated, the Dice were AWESOME! Im not sure what the kids loved the most! I just know they had a great time & enjoyed picking their prizes at the end of it!
Even after a long day of Pokemon playing, they were all ready to keep going even tho we had moms & dads begging to please lets go back to the room to catch some ZZZZ's....lol

If you keep this as a Nats tradition then I would like to suggest moving it to Sunday. After a very long tournament day and the crush of disappointment (#34 in T32 cut) plus the drive home to bed we just could not stay for the Piglet Draft. I think it would have been terrific for the kids who weren't playing top cut on Sunday to have their own fun tourney then.

i concur, with heatherdu. i would like to see this done on sunday. as many many of my local players were too exhausted to attend.

Fantastic suggestion!!! Give the piglets some zzzzzzzzzzzz's then something to honor them with on sunday!!! Great idea!!
