The strategy is the same as Samurott/Feraligatr, use rain dance to load energy on Alomomola and hydro pump for massive damage. SEL is there as a secondary attacker and to snipe cards like Emboar and Reiuniclus off the bench to criple their set up while i hydro pump them to death. Donphan is a lightning (Zekrom) counter and the rest are for set up.

Sorry, but I don't get it. You're planning to use a stage 2 (which now takes 3+ turns to get out) to power up a basic that would be naturally powered up in as many turns? That will be incredibly clunky. You may want to re-think this.

Did u two read the card? while yes i could power up the alomomola in the same amount of time it takes to get feraligatr but then your only hitting 70, if i use feraligatr to rain dance more energy onto alomomola i can usually get its damage to 100 or 110 easily on the turn i have feraligatr out and when it gets KOed i just bring up anouther since its basic and re-attach. Sorry if i wasn't clear i just thought it was obvious:lol:. and yes the rainbow is for donphan.

why no seeker? Alomomola is so much more annoying when you can just switch, seeker, reattach to a fresh one. I mean that's what SSU is there for, but seeker in an uxie-less format just creates so many opportunities

Yeah. It helped me go undefeated at the pre-release. It's still going to give you fits using a Stage 2 to power up a basic for good damage in a format already busting at the seams with lightning type Pokemon.

yeah, i'm inclined to go with waynegg here. the point of using a basic as your main is speed, and this card is not speedy if it needs a stage 2 to set up reliable damage. plus, it's pretty frail. being OHKO'd by even cinccino does not bode well for this deck. unfortunately, water won't see much play outside of a league environment because of how popular lightning decks will be next format. namely, zekrom donk. i too use a water deck, but there is really no way to swing a zekrom match in your favor outside of pure luck. :[
