An idea I though to work well with decks like Eeveelution and GG going to be/still being popular.
I am assuming that CG is still allowed with MD coming out.
And I don't know what to do with the trainer line so I could use some help with that.
---------
Pokemon
---------
3-2-3 Ampharos SW - Main Attacker and Supporter Punisher
3-3 Weavile SW - Dark Charger/Engager
2-2 Aerodactyl MD - P-Power Punisher in case of Claydol/Gardevior and such.
1-1 Sleep Hole Darkrai/lv.X - Damage Booster and has good attacks.

Total 20
-------
Trainer
-------
4 Plus Power
4 Rare Candy

Total:??
-------
Energy
-------
4 Special :dark:
8 Basic :dark:
6 Basic :lightning

Total: 18

Strategy:
-Get the Ampharos line Active and setup Ampharos by attaching 2 Special :dark: energy's and 1 :lightning.
-This can be helped a bit by starting with Weavile SW and using it's free attack to charge Mareep on the Bench and retreat for free on the next turn to hit hard with Dark Engage.
- When that is done, Ampharos is ready to do 90 damage per turn and a possible damage spread every turn by throwing away just 1 energy! And with it's beefy 130HP, it can survive alot of hits before going down despite of it's :fighting: weakness.

i took the liberty of altering your presumed line of cards

3-2-3 ampharos
1-1 darkrai
2-2 weavile
2-2 aerodactyl
18 total pokemon

3 rare candy
2 holon fossil
4 prof oaks visit
2 steven's advice
3 roseanne's research
4 celio's network
2 night maintenance
2 switch/warp
4 crystal beach (or moonlight stadium)
26 total trainers

4 special dark
6 basic dark
6 lightning energy
16 total energy

notes: rare candy only really benefits ampharos so i dont think you need that many. aerodactyl md is immune to latilock and battle frontier if it is treated as a basic (hence the holon fossil). i think you would be better off with a useful stadium rather than 4 pluspowers.

I think I rather have both since it will increase the flexibility of the deck.
CB for the DRE-happy decks and MS for the situational retreat.

I also don't have Holon Fossil.... :-/

the advantage of 4 CB is that you almost certainly WIN the stadium war and pull the plug on DRE and scramble. OTOH it is useless against decks not running these special energies
the advantage of Moonlight stadium and warp point is the massive amount of bench manipulation you will be able to do, but you run the risk of your opponent also being to use the free retreat
i dont think 2 of each is necessarily a bad idea, but it will make it harder to outright win the stadium matchup so you'll have to pay attention

3 rare candy
2 Moonlight Stadium <--
4 prof oaks visit
2 steven's advice
3 roseanne's research
4 celio's network
2 night maintenance
2 switch/warp
4 crystal beach
26 total trainers

Since I dont have Holon Fossil, I have changed that to MS.
Good idea?
