Probably. If people decide that Torterra is the play for States (lol) then people will think that they absolutely NEED to make a fire deck to win. I can see the new Blaziken and the new Infernape to get some play.
 
Ok, I just wondered because It seems that Shaymin/Scepile/Leafeon Decks seem to be making a comeback! Do you think the the Platinum Infernape is playable or just too risky because of the coin flip?
 
It's too flippy for my liking and doing 80 damage per heads is something I would never play anyway. However, it could work if you use Heatran to get back some of the discarded energies. It also makes Infernape LvX playable since it shouldn't take you that long to get 8 energies in your discard pile.

If you did play it, how many energy's would you discard, 2 to bring back with Heatran??
 
Probably only 2 since that KOs everything in the format with a bit of luck. Discarding 3 per turn could give you the same effect and you'll be one step closer to using Infernape LvX's attack.

probably 8 at once, next turn level up and 150 straight!

if you're returning energy with heatran, then you need to be getting a steady anoumt into the discard for the 150 (playing it without the lvx would suck). you'd have to discard 4 and power or something, so that 2 are getting discarded at a time for the auto ko (well, 150).

platinum decks:
g deck (apparently it's japans most popular?)
some sort of ground shaymin deck (i dont think terror will be it though)
blasty/catty, though i personally cant see it being much cop tbh
blaze?
giratina lvx of pwnagness deck?
the real return of gg i think is 99% gonna happen. it has good type coverage as always, and that new gardy has that nasty effect on the second attack to nulify a swift ohko! i think i may consider gg for the first time... (seriously i played a gg deck in one game, and it wasnt my deck)

Gigas and Unknown G are gonna have a rough time with power spray it seems. Also don't think dialga will win states but after the next expansion it will def be an excellent candidate for worlds :thumb:
 
Im begging u. Try my Poision potential deck. its gonna be a long time before i EVER finish it! Got pretty much
none of the cards and im low on good trading materil. not to mention my money...
 
the best platinum decks will be machamp, kingdra, blastoise(none of this stupid catty business) regigigas, dusknoir, and the BDIF galactics (if played right) galactics takes a lot of experience, and is not one of those decks u throw together the morning before the tourny. If ur playin this for states u should probably start building it..... RIGHT NOW!
 
Rampardos = sick.

80 for :fighting:? Yes please! And the only side effect is 40 damage to Rampardos, and ONLY if the Defending Poké is KOed. Such a ridiculous donker. I'd even go so far as to say Rampardos > Kingdra. Mold Breaker is a mediocre stall attack for only :colorless:fighting:, but Iron Skull takes the cake. :D

Correct me if I'm missing something, but Dialga is just a tech card. Most likely that's all it ever will be.
A 1-1 or so will be very common in the states metagame, and most likely throughout the season.
 
What im wondering is how much potential does beedrill have. The only body dialga can stop (shaymin land form) isnt even necissary for the deck to be good. With broken time space it can set up and swarm incredibly fast. Correct me if im wrong.

It already is running strong, Bonds will just give it more of a boost.

I'll be playing Galactic Conquest every single event I go to.
