i think that we can include lucario with dusknoir and magnezone as some of the diamond/pearl era pokemon that the tcg makers love. i don't blame them, either.
 
Question: Is G considered part of its name? If not, then can this level up into Honchkrow LvX? I'm pretty sure it's considered part of the name though...

Yes it is Part of the name. Palkia G SP can Level up to Palkia G Level X SP, but it can not Level up to the normal Palkia Level X. Nor can the DP Palakia Level up to Palkia G Level X SP

SP Level ups go onto SP pokemon only

Cool Lucario, Didn't see those in thbe japanese packs, atleast I don't think I did, maybe they were in the half decks or whatever they are

and it amazes me that pop chose to preview a common card? that helps my speculation list even better. First time they preview a common since DP. Lolz.
 
I'm gonna say it now......OMG THOSE CASES R AMAZING!!!!!........in other news, the lucario is sweet....the galactic pokemon in general r gonna b amazing and annoying at the same time......this Krow is really good tho!!
 
Honchkrow is a great addition to any galactic deck.

Lucario is from the entry pack, which means we'll probably also get the good Torterra and the Pokémon Rescue trainer.

check giratina lv x its spreading and grate and can send pokemon to lost zone

The trainer specific pokemon bring me back top Gym Challenge days :) Plus i love a metal lucario that can do the wave. Its like the old days revisited hehe. Now i can play lucario and be happy.

This makes me want to get that platinum box and rebuild a deck for states.

How can it not be great? Giving all your Grass Pokemon 40 extra HP is just wonderful; Shaymin himself has 140 in its Lv X form, and its attacks aren't too shabby. Torterra Lv X is boosted to a very terrifying 200 HP, giving him ridiculous staying power. Scizor/Cherrim can even benefit; Scizor isn't OHKOed now by many attacks (which deal exactly 100 damage to KO him) and Cherrim...well, can't be sniped off easily?

Lucario is also pretty cool, solid attacks give him more options than even Lucario DP (the other released one sucks).

sorry but shaymin is the only grass pokemon that wont get the +40HP boost. The body clearly stated excluding all Shaymins.

So yeah. Lucario is the first pokemon to have a Prerelease sleeve (from DP) and stamped card (from PT) :p

what should we call the set abbreviation?

PT? or PL?

The japanse set have the set logo said as DPt1, DPt2, etc

So I guess it would be said PT.

Why not make a poll for users to choose which one would be the way to go? Pt or Pl? Pretty sure it would be best for Pt as it is the chemical symbol for Platinum. as said on this page: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Platinum

Finally some nice atrwork. It's AMAZING!! And he has a dark look.

His attacks aren't that bad, considering he's a basic pokemon.
