Pokémon TCG: Sword and Shield—Brilliant Stars

Platinum Scans and an Error

lol definately going to be a fix for this card.. thats too funny

just like octillery's octazooka, "Any time the Defending Pokemon tries to attack" shouldn't that be "During your opponents next turn"?

No. The idea is that the effect can last multiple turns, as long as that Pokemon is the Defending Pokemon.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!

A MUST in my deck! XDDDD
It will be REALLY funny to play one of these, or even both.

Pajamas covered it. Rocket's Scyther from way back in the day had an attack that left a similarly "lingering" effect (actually it did exactly what Octazooka does, but without damage and for a single energy), so this is not unprecedented or radical at all. It just has not been seen for a long time.

Only slightly off topic, but if anyone played with the theme decks, there's 61 cards in the Giratina one. It's only an extra Fighting energy though.

Back in day, Dark Vileplume was left to play as written, and they weren't two different cards any more than these are.

No there were 2 different Vilplumes. The 1st edition all had weakness to :fighting: while the unlimited had
weakness to :fire:. The Ruling then was play as written.

Personally I would prefer that the do not errata this error. A Colorless Dialga would be a good tech in a :Metal As there are a lot of Electric Pokemon like Ampharos and Manetric that will probably get a lot of play at states, and are resistannt against Metal attacks, The Colrless Dialga will also be usefull against dragons like the Flygon/Flygon X that we should get in the next set, as they are weak to Colorless attacks, and will most likely get a lot of play in Battle Roads and Nationals/World Championships. I realize that the game designers did not intend for this to happen but as it has it should be allowed to be played as printed. Now if both the RH and the Regular were colorless then I could see having to errata the card, but with the correct version being the more easy go get version, I feel they should allow both versions to be used in Preimere event play.

Lots of pokemon have dual types available in the current game, One more will not hurt the game at all.

Even tho I agree with you 100%
I hope they fix this to both be metal or both be colorless.
If they wanted 2 different versions of the exact same card
they should have made it a different card number -_-

There was plenty of Dialga in the set to make 1 colorless if
they intended to make one as such.
