Doom news is garbage, you loose 2 nrg attachments to do nothing... I used Jirachi LA soo long and I had means to recover the NRG and didnt use doom desire in one single game, its just a bad attack :/

all these cards r garbage
but
i think theres potentual to the charizard gl lv x
again im not hyping it
but i think som1 could pull it off
with all the extra energy we have for g pokes i think it would work
wouldnt upper energy+energy gain work with it or does upper energy excluse lv xs?

Energy Gain is a good idea, but the fact that it only takes off 1 cost, there's still 4 left.
 
I would honestly have liked it better if they kept Hellfire because its cooler, but malevolent is a good replacement. And it would get controversy, and yeah.


At least its not something boring like Flame Tail
 
The fact that they changed the attack name from Hell Fire to Malevolent Fire. Means that they dont want young children learning that word at such a young age.
 
Everyone looks at Charizard and just thinks it's bad. You've got to look closer.

Charizard attack with Malelovent Fire, you flip tails. Oh, no! Oh, wait.

Step 1: Heatran uses Heat Wave. 2 of those Fire energy back, please.

Step 2: Typhlosion uses Firestarter. I'll have another.

Step 3: Flint's Willpower, I'll attach 1 energy from my hand to one of my SP Pokemon. (Charizard)

Step 4: I'll use my once per turn energy attachment on Charizard.

And if you use Energy Gain (Which you'd be a fool not to, in my opinion), you can miss 1 step, except #1.


It's do-able.
 
Not only C-Zard X and heatran, but you could also throw in a few LA Rayquaza's for speed gain, and to protect your bench, have a PL Manectric there, with Unown G on him! Use C-Zards Poke body to get the energy from rayquaza, and BAM! Major consistent hurt! Use Lv. X max's, NRG Gains, it's definetely doable. More of a fun deck for league than for a tourney though. :)

You do know that the deck you suggested would take up quite some room. It's a nice idea, but Speed Gain is way too flippy and Firestarter does a better job. Add in Felicity's to get rid of extra Fire and then get them back.
Even then, it sounds like a long time to setup.
 
ok, so use the MT Typhlosion, felicity's, Bebe's/roseanne's, BTS, not too long to set it up, but again, this is NOT a deck for BR's, just something fun for a league or something! I agree it is tech heavy, But I have to at least TRY it at league and see what happens! I'll post it in the deck helps thread and let you all know! I just don't know what can be done with the Garchomp C X!!!!
 
i love how everyone is sidestepping one of the best cards that is coming out of the set. They may only have his base version, but Staraptor X's Cyrus Searchability is IMMENSE in this format. just like.. hey, i've got a bad hand, Staraptor Search for Cyrus, voila, or search for bebe, or Roseanne's, It's the card that completes the Cyrus Engine. but yes, let's all talk about the Absol that can do 60 damage for one energy but the rest of it is trash, and the Charizard that, let's face it, ALL Charizards will be overhyped. While you guys prattle on about those, i'll get my Staraptors, as it's the claydol of the PL-on format.

There will be three tins, all with semi usable Lv.X Dragons in them and those are:

Charizard G
Rayquaza
Garchomp C

so the value won't be all that, but still a funa and ez way to get your hands on one! I already have 2 boxes of SV coming, and 3 sets of the tins, and that will be all I spend! LOL
