Plox Techs

I am going to be running plox at my states 2morrow and so i was wondering which tech is better dusknoir for killing bench pokemon and extra draw or nideoqueen for healing and 100 damage to the active pokemon?

Thank you,
Xioner

Nidoqueen 1000000%. It keeps out your Gardy's longer, makes it easier for you to Bring Down, and Nidoqueens attacks are pretty good as well.

Plox doesn't need techs as much as it needs consistency. Without that T2/3 lock, you are in trouble.

I'd play Azelf LV X, if that counts as a tech.

Azelf Lv. X is pretty much a necessity, or else you run into problems in a mirror match when the opponent is using Azelf Lv. X and you are not.

Nidoqueen is a good tech, but I like the DP Dusknoir better. The ability to shuffle in a Benched Pokemon and then force your opponent to get it back out while they are under a Power Lock can win you some games.

I dont have that dusknoir but thats a very good idea i try to pick one up

Unortodox: Breloom with Sky Uppercut. Amazing in the Flygon Match-up. Add a moonlight stadium, and it will destroy Gardies in mirrors.

Mewtwo LvX: Auto-win against all non-Dialga SP decks and buys time against Shuppet Donk.

mewtwo X is not gonna net you an auto win against non dialga SP decks.
Luxchomp is either gonna

A: play around it by sniping and bright looking
B: gonna play some sort of mewtwo counter in it's list.

almost every SP deck at states should have some sort of way to deal with mewtwo.

I'd play Dusknoir DP. Most decks out there need a full bench to be at their best, so use Dusknoir to shut them down.

I like dusknoir the best, but as baby mario said plox needs consistency. Using stage 2's are a little harder now with luxchomp ruining set ups so you really need quick comebacks and a fast power lock.

Plox is nothing IMHO without dusknoir. if you lock and manage to dark palm whatever pokemon your opponent managed to setup before the lock, your gold. and i also like azelf x, they can both be fit in easily
