Plusle/Tauros and baby evolution

If I use a Call for Family attack with a baby on the bench (Smoochum, for example) and get the basic Pokemon that evolves from the baby (Jynx, for example), can the second-stage basic be placed directly on the baby or must it go on the bench as a stand-alone basic Pokemon?

Call for Family places the Pokemon on the Bench, not on another Pokemon. They have to go on the Bench as a non-evolved Basic.
