Poison and confusion lock

I'm too lazy to post a deck or playtest this idea. The strategy is to poison your opponent's pokemon with dark crobat's poke-power. Then switch to FRLG poliwrath and use its confusion attack to confuse and lock. So the only way to get out from the poison and confusion lock is to use board controlling trainers, like warp point. Will it work?

Hi Dro~,

Not entire sure on two stage two lines since both have retreat costs. Another nice mean would be to stick to a confusion lock with Dark Raticate and Poliwrath. In this manner the retreat costs can be reduced and it sticks to the lockdown theme. Beware of Briney and Warp Point with this deck but when faced with decks that run a limited amount of one or the other it can be nice.

With Dark Crobat the deck would have to retreat twice in the middle of the match which forces one to run at least three to four switches or decide whether one runs with Poison or Confusion this turn.
