Poison Lock in the making

I thought that I would try to make a deck out of Amoonguss and Galvantula. The idea of the deck would be to lock opponents into a pokemon that they can't do much with especially when they cannot retreat without using either an ability or an item. I am asking the people of this forum for help to think of cards to help support this combo or even cards that do this job better.

not galvantula, them not being able to retreat still lets them attack. Look for cards that paralyze the opponenet like Vanilluxe or Liligant (BW)

Well the confuse from the ability of Amoonguss is supposed to help mitigate damage from galvantula for that.

Also just realized that maybe Vileplume would be useful.

Use Mew instead. T1 See Off / Absol Prime / Relicanth a Leafeon, then just spam Mews.

That way you can abuse Muk on heavy Pokemon like Terrakion, 'lock' down energyless Magnezones, shut down Afterburners.

So sludge drag heavy pokes then just kill it with after amoonguss and houndoom's abilities? That seems like a mew toolbox for a 2 pokemon.
