Pokémon Communication Vs. Pokémon Trader (Base Set)

Hi,

while I was searching my old cards for some DCE energies (well I found some^^), I stumbled upon the good, old "Pokémon Trader". And after reading the card, I noticed it's text reads nearly identical to the one from "Pokémon Communication".

So my question is: Can you play Pokémon Trader as if it was Pokémon Communication?

Here are the two cards:

Pokémon Communication

No. They don't have the same name.
And there is actually a slight difference in how they are played which will make a difference if you don't find a Pokemon you want to get from the search.
